  1. Any up to date pictures....just picked up my SEL estate and looking for some protectors :-)
  2. Morning guys, Waiting on Skoda to build my new Octavia estate....but would like to know if anyone has sourced headlamp protectors for one? I've used these covers on other cars and they have done a great job of protecting the lens....and would like to get a set for the new car. Any links and experiences gratefully received. Kind regards Simon
  3. The issue with the tow bar is that it is a standard swan neck and I have a flanged cycle carrier...used the Witter one in the past...
  4. Hi guys, Pretty much ready to order a new SEL estate....DSG, leather, winter pack, tow bar prep....but couldn't get the dealership to do anymore. My question is whether or not to pay the extra £279 upfront for the services? Not sure what the normal cost would be? Many thanks Simon
  5. Thanks buddy...that's what I thought....will need a detachable flanged version really.
  6. Yes, please assume that must be the saloon? I'm looking at an estate tbh.
  7. Which model? I'm looking at around £18.5 after scrappage for an SEL...no.significant options....
  8. Hi John, I am just about to move from a 2004 Accord CDTI under the scrappage scheme, and had a 1.4TSI on the 72hr test drive....I was a little nervous of the loss of torque and overall BHP but was pleasantly surprised. To be fair I haven't driven the 2.0TDI, but have a fair experience of oil burners and VAG cars....and always loved them. That said the economy and performance on the 1.5 is great and you are steering away from the potential issues surrounding diesel ownership.....they are far from flavour of the month. You will probably be doing a higher mileage than me, but I think the petrol is probably still a safe bet....spend the extra on leather! Why not get some test drives under your belt. Good luck, Simon
