  1. Had an accident recently where a young kid drove into the front of my car head on (his fault, but as usual he denied it )... got it all fixed via the insurance (drivers side wing, bonnet, headlight fog light and front bumper) looked very good work and couldnt tell any difference pre accident A couple of days after getting it back and I could smell diesel. so took it back to the repairers thinking something was caught/dislodged causing the leak. today they get back to me saying they couldnt find the leaks source so took it to main dealers to identify the problem. The garage have just phoned me to say that its the fuel pump thats leaking and it will also need a new cambelt has that has been contaminated, and the best bit is they say it isnt accident related so the repairs are going to cost £1760 ish talk about peed off, ive only had it a month. I did look to see if it was subject to a recall...but no such luck, it does say it needs the emissions fix though as that hasnt been done, at least if thats done and it dies on me i'll have the emmisions warranty maybe lol 2012 1.6 tdi greenline estate 145000miles
  2. Thanks guys, after checking out a few posts I think i'll probably go with the camera option, ive got to purchase and fit a decent android head unit first though, ideally with gps as I get lost easily
  3. Hi, just purchased a 2012 Superb Greenline after getting rid of a vw passat estate. Im really loving it and wish id made the change years ago! Got a few things to do, nothing major, both front alloys need refurbing as they've got a bit of curb rash, and i really need to fit either parking sensors or a rear view camera as its taking some getting used to im often parking up thinking im virtually hitting something only to find im 4 feet away
