Spoke to the manager. Apparently vw group audit the warranty repairs that are carried out. At random they ask for a few cars to be brought back in for the work to be vetted. Mine was requested.... Got a valet and fuel out of it. Thanks guys.

Hi, I had a warranty repair last year. All is fine with it. Last week I was called by the local dealership and asked to drop the car in for a 'warranty repair audit'. Is this an actual thing? Or is the dealership avoiding telling me they concerns re the previous repair? Thank you.

Hi, I have an existing automatic 63 plate saloon Octavia and I am looking at possibly changing it for a 70 plate automatic Octavia Estate. My current car is an 'Elegance' model and the Estates I am considering are SEs. What components if any can I expect not to be in an SE spec that I currently have please? For example does the SE allow you to close the windows +lock the car from the key fob? Thanks in advance
