Yeah I'll have a look. Turns out it was more the felt lip around the windows that were rubbing against the door frame, you can recreate the sound hi gently pushing on the windows from the outside. I applied auto glym tyre dressing gel to the inside of the door frame which solved it.

Creaking noise from drivers door
Neil83 replied to AJ7788's topic in Skoda Octavia Mk II (2004 - 2013)
I had the same and I've solved the problem it was the felt lip around the window that moves against the paintwork when the car flexes. I got some lubricant and put it around the door frame where the lip touches, the noise stopped completely. -
My four year old rapid doors creaked. Realised it was the rubber seals creaking against the metal during body flex. Applied olive oil to the rubber seals (was the only thing I had at the time) and it fixed the problem.

HAd my four year old rapid for a week now, door creaks we're getting on my nerves, would always happen at lower speeds when manoeuvring (body flex). Saw this post and applied olive oil to the inner door seals just as a test before buying anything else. Worked great, no creaking.

Hi everyone! I've just bought a second hand rapid 63 reg with 23k on the clock. Within a couple of days a loud rattle started around the passenger side dash board. Drove to work this morning and it was driving me mad. I parked up and sat in the passenger seat while banging on the dash to recreate the rattle. Sure enough I found where it was coming from. I've wedged a bit of card between where the dash plastic meets the windscreen and it's done the trick. Just got to put up with a bit of card poking out of the dash, better than that bloody rattle though, however if anyone has any advice for a more permanent fix I'd be very grateful. Thank you.
