  1. Ah ok. It’s booked in to Skoda on Thursday. Hopefully they will sort it with a firmware update too.
  2. Yep it is still going in to limp mode. Seems to kick in when I reach circa 50mph. The exhaust light comes on after 5-10 mins of driving. I will have to get it in to Skoda. Kerching, sadly.
  3. Thanks for the reply. I do low miles during the week and then every other weekend circa 80-100 mile round trip on the motorway. So it gets a long run out frequently. I have assumed it was something to do with being covered in water. The local specialist garage were baffled. It kept dropping out of the test they were doing.
  4. Feeling a bit apprehensive. Last week in the torrential rain, the car next to me hit an enormous puddle at 50mph. Consequently my car had a deluge of water across it. At the roundabout for the motorway half a mile away I tried to put my foot down and the “coil” light had come on, flashing, putting the car in to limp mode. I got home and booked it in to VW/Skoda independent specialist I use for 3 days later. 2 days later the light had gone off. I assumed water had got in somewhere and it had dried out. I cancelled the booking. All good then a day later the coil light and the exhaust warning light came on. Booked it in and they could not find a fault despite 4 hours on it. The diagnostic said there was a leak in the exhaust system. The checks including smoke flow proved the exhaust was fine. The lights remain on. I now have to book in to thecSloda dealership. Anyone any ideas? I’m full of trepidation and apprehensive of a big bill. It’s 5 yrs old, diesel with 32k on the clock. Just had the glow plugs replaced too.
  5. Hi all, I followed the instructions on here religiously for updating the Amundsen maps. 99% of the way through unpacking the files on to the SD card, I got an error - Unexpected Handling Error. I clicked continue and it’s stuck unpacking the Turkey-v1.spb file. Any ideas? Should I click cancel and start again? It’s a long process though. I did did make a back up of the original files. Help! Thanks.
  6. Hi, I’m new on here and just following a thread on updating the maps on my Amundsen unit. I’ve also downloaded the radio station icons. Do I copy them all on directly to the SD card (root directory) or do they need to go in a folder on the card? All advice appreciated. Thanks.
