  1. Great that saves a hassle. Thanks. Never heard it past two days but then radio was on. Now to fit reversing camera and enjoy 1st Skoda!
  2. Found stuff about brake booster / servo online. Tried this test and pedal remains down and then when restarting engine returns again.
  3. Picked up a nearly new Octavia Estate (2016; 9500 miles) at the weekend. Noticed today that the brake pedal when pressed sounds like a manual air pump, like for a bicycle tyre. Cant hear it over engine noise / radio. Looked down at pedal and it sounds like it is next to or from the grey rubber surround. Only when pressing pedal in, nothing on pedal return. Brakes seem to work fine. Any ideas on problem and what would cause it on a basically new car? Hopefully normal or a cheap fix.
