  1. im guessing your old, or posh mate, if you had read the orginal post, i said a focus rs not st, i do agree that the st in orange is a litle asbo attractive, b its not what im after, focus rs, fabia vrs?? that is the question!
  2. im in a bother, got a deposit down on the vrs(refundable), but had a look at insurance on a focus rs, and its rather resonable. i travel 40 miles a day, total, and i need advise, or help making my mind up. 14000 ill be spending. i do have the option that if i do purchase a focus rs, ill buy a run around for the daily comute. 500 pound run around. what you all think???? i love the rs, but ive had a fabia vrs for a year and i do love her! just think i want a change?!
  3. Have you? how easy? how much? what make? simple!!!!
  4. the lotus carlton isnt deemed a mass produced car, lotus themselves produced a limited version of the vauxaul carlton, and produced it during the days that european car manafacturers had agreed to produce saloons that had a max speed of 155. but lotus/vaxaul threw a spanner in the works and made the lotus carlton. it is a classic purely due to the nature of the car, its a vaxual carlton, made mad by lotus. lets face it the vrs is a car that is in my eyes a bargin, bit of a sleeper on the road, but with them making a limited edition, those few cars will become more desirable than a standard vrs. choice of say 1000 reds, 1000 yucky yellow 1000 blacks, 1000 silver vrs's in the free adds evening post, auto trader, car auction, carmarthen journel!!!!! or oooo whats this a blue 1/1000 leather limited edition. lets have a look at the blue one daddy. i want it!!!!! get where im coming from??
  5. yes i am from wales, but lets not titty tatter, some guys seem to be comparing this limited edition to 55k cars, some in favour some not. fact is the car will be limited. meaning not many of them... even if they do produce 1000 of the little blighters thats not allot, After all, the original Fabia accounts for half of all Skodas on the UK's roads, and a total of 1.5 million have found homes around the world. so 1000 is a rather small figure. i can see why this car wont be hugely desirable, but if i said to anyone that i wanted to sell my limited edition in a years time, and you had the option to buy either a limited or a standard, i know where your money would be going?? into my pocket, yoink thank you very much. and no doupt, i wouldnt be out of pocket, were as if it was one of the lesser, end of line STANDARD vrs id see a grater depreciation. all the best
  6. "lets face it", seems to be said alot here. fact, the car is limited, my deposit is down, and its not going to depreaciate half as much as a standard vrs. limited edition is no way going to lose more money!! if you think for one minute that a limited edition car of anysort will not be desirable, you suck, and you have no understanding of the fact of men, and the love of having something thats1 of 1000!!!
  7. i have a standard vrs metalic and i just want a blue one, i want one that not every tom **** and harry will have, you can tune/tamper/pamper/and in some cases wreck the vrs by ****ing about with it, but if you do want a limited edition, pull your finger out of your..... and buy one!!! like me!!! love the vrs, wanted a new one, just so happens that the limited edition will be availible when i change, good job i got the deposit down!! all the best!
  8. no no, i had a stutter, but it was kinda there but not, i noticed it and thought nothing of it. it was that small, but when i went in to fix another fault he asked was it a stutter then i said well it has got a stutter to! just play with the car at 1700-1800rpm, easing of the excelorator, any gear, and squizing back on as the revs lower, and youll find it if you have it.
  9. thats what i thought, i had my vrs for nine months, serviced twice, and still they didnt change, they seem to only change if the fault is reported by the owner. it only effects some models.??? strange but in all fairness dont worry, if you do have the fault its easily fixed, and the car is awsome. enjoy your new vrs!
  10. your the one! i spoke to cardiff after swansea had offered to resurve me a ltd fabia, they said someone had already put a deposit down for thairs. how do you find the dealership? my experience was pretty poor, as if they didnt care, so i went to swansea and bought my first car from them.
  11. the trouble is everything is speculation. confirmed details are blue leather ish seats, blue paint. thats it?????
