  1. Measured the battery to 2.4 Volts today !!!! Put in another laying around measured 12.3v so put to charge disconnected. Lets hope car starts tomorrow...
  2. Tnxs. Keep me posted if anyone had the same problem.
  3. Hi, Anyone out there that has water poofed their yeti or know which parts and holes that are important too look out for if driving in water? How far up is it safe to go with the water ? Top of rim ? Since there has been a lot of rain lately i am seriously considering to do some work on the electrics with silicone etc. Wondering if there are any holes in the gearbox etc that might flood. know the dipstick is an potensial issue, as well as airintake , grill and alternator. I am talking about the diesel version with dsg. 2015 mod.
  4. Thanks, yes it is. Would it be likely it could affect the controller for indicators in this way due to low voltage ?
  5. i had the diesel reprogramming, cant feel any difference on this car. On the yeti with the 2.0 tdi 2015 engine it feels slightly less responsive but smoother. just a software remap I believe.
  6. Mine has had all services i.e. two in 99000km. Also had some replacement of some bearing/bolts on the flywheel. the 6 speed gearbox is wet, Is it no oil in 7 speed DSG ?
  7. Mine has gone 99000km now, 2010 model, 2.0 TDi DSG 140hp. Perfect power, although 170 would of course be a bit more. 140-150hp should be enough for most people. The difference is the torgue with trailer etc. I stick with diesel for this and also more fuel efficient, durable and cheaper than petrol at pump. Have some other issues with my car regarding DSg / Injector, but apart from that perfect for my needs and plenty of space for the kids and extre two bags in the footwell aft. Second hand you get much car for your money. Should i buy today i would buy one with 115000km and all services done including timing belt. Then all "child sicknesses" of the car should be gone ... btw. bensin = petrol.
  8. Hi, have issues with my indicator lights. They come on randomly, sometimes left and sometimes right. Sometimes i am bale to off by turning indicator switch on to the similar side. The indicator works fine to opposite side. Swich lever is chacked and found ok. After two days in my garage without any courtesy or indicator light coming on the battery now went totally flat. Could it be battery capacity ? The battery was fully charged but still had this problem ? could it be a module ? Superb 2, 2010 model.
  9. I have a similar issue with my 2010 Superb 2.0 TDi 6 speed DSG. It occurs especially when cold below 80 degrees, and it appears as a stuttering/juddering accelleration up to 40km/h. particularly present when engine is loaded up a small hill or similar try to accellerate. I need to let go the accellerator pedal and slow down, or get it in higher gear .. also have a old type diesel (pump engine sound (not commonrail sound)) from the engine department. Had to the worksjop for fault finding, but still no luck, at present we are at possible DSG clutch and possible injection valve issue. Please let me know if anyone had this issue and the remedy ?
  10. Do not take any chances. My waterpump burst on 98000km totally unexpected one morning. Warning light went red after 2 meters and no water left in the container. Just do it, wont save you mney in the long run. Do all belts at the same time. And the pulleys. That was on a 2010 model Superb Elegance 2.0 tdi DSg.
  11. The cable issue is a easy fix you can do in a few hours yourself. I have the MK11 2010 model 2.0 Superb Elegance with all stuff. I find the twindoor very usable compared to the estate, you can load it from the top and everything is easy accessible, also feel the back seet is a bit more padded ?? as it can not be laid fully down. Anyway, no problems for skiing or anything else as boot is 1m x 1m and the mid section can be put down. Still havent got the roof box. Once had a small ATV fitted in the boot. In my opinion you actually do not need that middle hatch and full hatch would be sufficient, but it is heavier to open for smaller items. Anyway, liked the look of it, so bougt it. Some initial adjustments on the hatch to get it to lock without sound, it was a bit off when i bought it. After that no probs. Great car when it works.
  12. Have / Had the same issue. Press the lid while pressing the open door switch on your key. It then releases ok. Else need to removesome interior in boot and reach a wire in there..
  13. This is an old tread but i had the same problem. It was broken wires between the small lid and the hatch. Just pull out all the interior felt and plastic and pull back the wires slightly (be careful at base of window), solder and tape the wires well. Soldering will make cables more stiff, but works fine on mine. More aware that i open the smaller hatch more slowly now. Workshop said the only thing to do was to change all cables, what nonsence..
  14. Hi there, a two skoda Owner here from the other side of the pond, Norway. Have a Yeti '15 and a Superb '10. I am joining the forum to find solutions to various hick-ups with the cars, seems like the perfect community to find the answers. I might also be able to contribute to others. i am on.
