  1. Try Maidstone Skoda. That's where I got mine for £840 but you may not get as good a deal for buying one. I had to ask for a reduction and that's the number they came up with which I thought was very fair. 😊
  2. You can get the Xtreme for less than £250 a wheel if you shop around. I bought 4 for £840 inc VAT.
  3. Over a year since the last post in here and I wondered if any progress has been made? I also have an H50 unit with 0933 Software/Firmware and I'm keen to get it updated.
  4. He's spent less time logging in and typing his question than you have replying, that's for sure.
  5. My 230 FL does this a lot too, mainly on cold mornings when booting it. Completely soaks the rear window.
  6. You get this all the time. They only want to sell you what they want to sell you - they never listen.
  7. Is the below correct? It's from a 2017 Octavia vRS - Colombus unit. The update stayed on 100% for ages and I gave up in the end. I guess this is up to date though? All the maps listed below are labelled 2019.
  8. You get what you pay for. If you want top quality buy a Audi or Merc but you are paying a lot more
  9. I'd keep the 245, knowing that you have a rare car. There's nothing wrong with the front end, it's different but I quite like it now. If you want to proceed, see how far they are willing to take it and ask for some cash or some other incentive.
  10. Thank you for this. If my Car is registered May 2017 then is it a MY18 car? And looking at those part numbers i'm assuming the latest revision ending AM is the one that is more likely to work? I have found a pair of AK's, are these likely to work? They are from a 2014 Octavia it looks like Thanks again
  11. Is this more up to date? https://www.realoem.me/Skoda/CZ/OCT/2017/753/R/8/857/857040
  12. I think i'll get a VRS 245 number plate off the Skoda used cars site and give a Skoda dealer a call tomorrow to see what the part numbers are as we know that the 245 has elec folding as standard
  13. That's not too bad as you will effectively have a pair of non elec folding mirrors to sell afterwards. They must be worth £100 minimum for the pair?
  14. Sorry, I thought when you said loom that there was extra cabling. I'm hoping it's just the 2 elec folding bases and door control switch that's needed. Then a bit of coding. Does the £400 include the entire wing mirror so glass and casing etc?
  15. Is there more needed other than the mirror bases and switch then? What extra cabling is needed?
  16. Do you have electric folding mirrors too then? Thanks for your help
  17. Anyone know what this is on the bottom of the wing mirror?
  18. I've located the switch part number: Doing a quick google search of both part numbers ending B and C shows that the one ending C is the one with the elec folding option.
  19. It gives you the part number to an extent but it's the final letter that we aren't sure of as there are lots of versions of the same part (some with and some without electric folding)
  20. One thing to note is that we don't really want the whole wing mirror assembly, just the folding element. We don't need the glass. We need Number 1 from this pic only:
  21. Good to hear that others are looking to do this mod as well. Hopefully we'll all have enough information needed to get the job done! If you are able to share those part numbers, that would be excellent. I'll either try and find them on eBay or buy them new from TPS. Yes, the dimming glass mirror is expensive and i'm glad you pointed that the folding mirror comes with the dimming glass. I know that the Octy SE L model has folding mirrors standard so wondered if they'd be dimming as well?
  22. If anyone who has factory fitted electric folding mirrors (powerfold) is willing to call a Skoda parts department and ask for the parts needed to replace there entire wing mirror on both sides, that would be great!! Just say that some jealous type has smashed both sides and they both need replacing . I will worry about the switch part number myself Thanks
