Ok is it easy to remove the starter motor what do you need to lube is up

When i start my car you can here the starter motor over turn it just dose it on first start from cold it is listing 2 new starters i have a 05 1.8t vrs is my starter on its way out

Thanks every one for your replys im going to have to degrease the area and start to clean it and run it and then investigate i just got told i had a slight oil leak after my service

Well the oil is under this so it must be the gasket is it easy to change

This is not my engine but you can see a silver disc thing just under the pipe thats what is leaking under it any ideas

Oil filter housing is ok it is above the oil filter just under the airbox pipe it is a metel thing on the side of the engine looks like a pcv valve to me it is leaking under that

Just had a oil change not losing much at all so is the seal on the left there is it easy to change

Just had belt done if it was a crank seal it would be leaking on the right not the left as this is where the leak is coming from

Wet arond the bottom aswell

It isent the rocker gasket as just had a service and plugs no oil on them it is weton a metel theing just beside the air box on the left of the engine looks to me near the pcv stuff

1.8t oil leak left hand side of the engine to rear more on the side of the engine is this the pcv system help

Can any one help im geting a oil leak on the passenger side of my 1.8t 20v vrs mk1 octavia it is to the rear of the engine more on the side not shure if it is the pcv help

Hi there im getting a bit of hesitation on boost in my 05 plate Octavia vrs only when cold put some fuel cleaner in witch has improved it a bit any ideas what it could be had the coil packs recal in 2011 don on it help
