Dave, I can see a picture of your car on rollers and a graph / read out showing the claimed amount, you understand road's can be over / under? All I have stated is i am fairly confident theirs is substantially high, for some garages its by accident - others on purpose so they can claim better numbers, I haven't stated my opinion on either of those. Surely you have to appreciate yourself that you are considerably higher than any stock or stage 1 mapped car on this forum (Not a single other person has shown ANY numbers CLOSE to yours.) Once again, I am not suggesting you are misleading us at all! Simply that their road is not calibrated correctly, or they are making up silly figures Juan - Neither can I.

Completely agree with both, variation will always occur, iv never heard of nearly 30 higher however. Which is why I was casting doubt upon the actual road itself, like you said Rolf, no reason to lie yourself

Not suggesting your lying in the slightest dude, just that the dyno itself may be reading about 20bhp to much. I haven't seen another 230 pull numbers anywhere near yours (Ever) and every engine is different which accounts for variations, however yours is up by too much to call it luck of the draw.

Think it was bud yeah. Its the highest numbers iv seen on a 230, and it beats every 245 before and after a stage 1 map that's what I don't get. (like its not even close its miles ahead)

Hey Rolf, Bumping this back into action because im a tad skeptical, most VAG engines when rolled throw out higher numbers that's true however 254 and then 315 after the map seem quite... erm high? Just wondering if anyone else has got some details following stage 1 map and before / after, as someone else posted below they put a 245 through the dyno stock and it came out 247, where as you are drastically above that on a 227 aswel. just been reading the last 2 pages of people with the 245 and im way way WAY down on their numbers.

Guys im really concerned here. Had my 245 for 2 weeks now - 400 miles on the clock and the highest MPG iv gotten is 31 and that was from Milton Keynes to Oxford and back. Around town and down the road it is coming up with like 14-19 average MPG and I swear to god, the car is sat in Eco and i am not putting my foot through the floor, anyone got an idea? I thought after a while they would go up a bit (never had a new car) but from the last 2 pages of this thread my MPG is way way lower

Picking up my 245 this afternoon hopefully - any advice on things to get the dealer to show me / go through. First time picking up a new car from dealership any advice would be good, thanks in advance -

My car is in the dealership now, its red hatch DSG just waiting till Monday to collect the week after next. Yes I am - Everyone always complains about the new lights and iv not been to bothered by them, however I did just have this thought and went hmmm..... I will await for someone truly special to grant me this photoshop and then take full credit when the entire forum adopts it.

Had my updates this week, car has landed in the UK and will be in dealer either tomorrow or next week. Still cant collect it for a month though ! :'(

Week 22 onwards, which you cant place an order for currently. That or its French only, northern Ireland have a different base model aswel... I wouldn't imagine that would be UK spec unless they are going a massive price adjustment (going up)

Im looking forward to it, I know lots of people run it already, i just had my concerns that was all A pretty noticeable difference then? Has anyone had it on a dyno with before and afters?
