  1. If you have auto lights you also have auto wipers.
  2. It may be awkward of you preferred the Passat more and swapped your order to one of those lol
  3. I am surprised you have waited until now to cancel. I'd have swapped to something in stock by now.
  4. Ha ha they can always be found at track days with cages in but not seen one on the road in ages.
  5. I had my last vrs when I was working for BMW and I had to take the company car when I started working for Audi.
  6. Extra 20 quid a month for the 4wd, and active display. Other than the extra power and 4 poo shoots it's much the same. Glad your no longer newbie status, always happy to help
  7. I'm all give ha ha someone will for sure. I'm sure the mk8 will be worth stepping up.
  8. I was lead to believe it'll loose around 15k over 2 years and 30k miles. Never mind, its just a car, all white goods cars like these loose money. I'll keep this until the mk8 Golf R estate is out then swap to that. That's the plan anyway.
  9. Agreed, I'm not into mods personally. I have also done a fair few track days and will be doing plenty more with my new employer this year. Those little Clio 182s are super quick.
  10. Im a member there, they don't talk as much as you boys so it's always fun to see what you lot are up to
  11. Worth is simply figures quoted from VWFS. To me the Golf is easily woth 20 quid a month extra.
  12. I wish it did, you can't buy group cars under the scheme (if you could I'd have a Porsche) and our boss won't let anyone on it even if we want an Audi. If he did I'd have an S4 avant for 350 pcm, no deposit.
  13. Depends on the spec. My Golf R is 39,915 and in to years time it'll be worth around 25. The vrs I ordered was around 32 new I think and in 2 years they said it'll be worth around 18 at my mileage. Makes them about even, hence it was only £20 a month more for the golf in my spec, worth it alone for the 4wd let alone the extra power.
  14. The golf will be worth more in a couple of years, usually by a similar difference hence the monthly costs are usually very similar.
  15. Agreed, I got into the industry to help people. It does my head in that management only see numbers and not people.
  16. I agree with you but most experienced sales managers don't. It's an industry wide thing and don't forget Skoda are on the up, as are the VW group in general. I offer handovers on a Saturday morning only at 8am and you only get an hour. By the time the px is taken in and the finance docs explained and signed it leaves very little time to go over the car. If there is no px and a cash sale and you are coming from the same car but an older model then you can be in and out in 20 mins but in prestige we have a few extra boxes to tick.
  17. Weekends are selling days according to most sales managers. Not for spending hours on a handover.
  18. I had exactly the same in 2013 when I got my mk3 vrs. Was told 8-10 weeks, took 5 months. We all keep going back because they are cheap and you certainly get what you pay for.
  19. I think I just got lucky, I bet next year it'll shoot up. I has a vRS back in 2014 so it'll be nice to have something different. I keep watching all of the online reviews, I'm just slightly excited.
