update all my reverse parking sensors are clicking when in reverse but i get no sound at all ,nothing is showing on my stereo i have just installed a new parking buzzer and it is still the same nothing is working any ideas guys ,would it be disabled anywhere ? thanks

i bought an octavia vrs 2012 ,it was an unmarked police car when i got it the stereo didnt work and had no gps aerial,aerial now installed and radio coded to the car ,so music and sat nav now work however i have never had any joy with park assist ,nothing on the stereo screen when going into reverse ,no beeps at all reversing lights work ok when engaged and i can hear all of the sensors clicking in the rear bumper the speaker is still connected in the b pillar trim with no signs of any damaged cables not sure where to look now ? could the park assist be not activated in the dash display ? i had vcds test and it reported park assist speaker ,so is it possible this speaker is not working and would knock out the whole system ? any advice most welcome thanks guys

many thanks guys have sorted it now as was original spec when new realised the muppets (i mean sales man) just stuck a standard aerial in as there was just a hole in the roof when i viewed it i bought a new shark fin type and fitted it ,works a treat now thanks

hi guys i will try to keep this short just bought above car ,this is an ex unmarked police car ,the warning bulb out sign on the dash is on ,maxidot is telling me to check front fog light bulbs ,i have put new bulbs in today and they still dont work ? the fog light sign on the dash lights up when they are switched on but they dont work the car had police strobes on all 4 corners which are no longer there ,or the wiring from what i can see if the car is telling me they arnt working can i assume they are coded to work but there is a problem somewhere with the wiring ? or would all these signs still show up even if they have been coded to off thanks all

hi all i have bought an ex police octavia vrs 2012 ,really impressed with it so far it had no roof aerial but dealer fitted a new single one i have the bolero sat nav radio but didnt have the code so wasnt working have been to skoda today who coded the sterio for me ,now the sterio works fine and i can get up the sat nav map but it appears to be stuck on a manchester map it wont recognise that i am in gloucester,skoda tech said i needed the correct shark fin /stubby aerial ,but i have read on here that one of the aerials is in the rear demister getting confused now and really wanting the nav to work any advise on what to do next would be great thanks for looking
