try a company called cooper tires, i've got them on my fabia vrs, they were 65 pounds inc fitting ect, they also have a deal if you say fit a brand new pair and 2 weeks later you get a nail in the side wall they will replace the tire free for charge, then money off as your tread goes down untill bald! i think there made by avon tires, sods law that i got a nail in my rear conti 2days after i fitted the front pair! lo. hope this has been of help to you

this might also seam obvious i found out during this summer that if you open your fabia using the key in the door and hold it in the open pos it opens the front windows for you, so no more blasts of supper heated air hitting you in the face and a manic dash for the a/c when you get in! and i've had my fabia for 2 years now and i only found out about the extra space in the glovebox last month! ha ha

when changing a fabia vrs's standard springs to Eibach springs do you need to change the shocks also or will they be ok on the new springs? it will only be a 30mm drop, 75mm is way to extreme for me. cheers

VRs Tdi low rpm engine judder
bennyvrs replied to grobster's topic in Skoda Octavia Mk II (2004 - 2013)
i have a 55 130 vrs and i too have the same problem, just as you change gear and at low revs it mine seams to hold back with a slight judder and then it goes on ok, ive taken it to a dealer and they told me its a common problem, they changed a valve on a part of the engine but it seams to be no better, maybe your dealer can give you more info than mine. -

Thanks - what make and model is this? Was looking to source one outside of the dealers and fit it myself as they seem quite pricey if you get them supplied and fitted by the dealers.

Hi, I need advice on which make and model of sat nav would be suitable for my fabia VRS? I am looking for the type that fits into the dashboard and pops out of the dash board instead of the models that sit on the top or are portable. Any suggestions or recommendations please.

Richard, Don't forget that you have the photographs as well - aslo make a record of the milage when you took the photographs as the garage would have put the milage on the paperwork, this may be useful in the future. Good luck and let us know how you get on?

Haynes Workshop Manual now available for the Fabia
bennyvrs replied to DGW's topic in Skoda Fabia Mk I (1999-2007)
Hi all. All of the pictures have numbers - but these numbers do not relate to the writen instructions, is that normal? As far as I can remember in my mini manual the pictures related to the instructions on how to do the work, why else would you number the pictures if not for this reason. -
