Thanks for replying. Its a CR engine. At a bit of a loss really.

So intake manifold replaced. OEM actuator fitted too. Still won't turn off engine light. ECU specialist can't find an issue with anything at all. Neither can the mechanic. Runs for about 4 days and EML pings on but doesn't record a fault. Mechanic thinks it may be a slight tolerance within the manifold and the rotation of the flaps as its a non OEM part. Skoda want £515 for the manifold. Any ideas??

Morning all. So my engine management light randomly turned on on a cold start having driven fine in the morning. OBD reader stated fast idle (it was normal and not on a regen) and also a unexpected fault in TCS. I've cleared the faults and ran the car for 20 mins and after a few turn off and on the fault did not return. Left for an hour until cold and light reappeared but it is showing code P3215 now though. States there are no faults but engine still shows this code. States network error. Quick search shows that it just means the engine management light has been on. Anyone got any ideas? Regards Matt

Stopped at traffic lights. In D and engine idling. Just cut out. Took about 4 turn overs to restart. No known current issues. No lights on dash. Did the previous 45 min journey totally fine. No noises. No unusual signs afterwards either. Half a tank of diesel in and regen seemed to kick in yesterday. Any suggestions? Thanks Matt

Morning all This is my first thread. Fancied a discussion about the power put out by the Vrs diesel. I've had mine for 5 months or so now and I'm really pleased. Returns an easy 54MPG on motorway and seems far stronger than 170BHP. I downloaded an acceleration app and timed it at 6.7 seconds which I was really surprised at. Anyone else had similar results? Skoda remapped it recently for the emissions for reference. It must be closer to 200BHP putting a time in like this? Just interested in what you guys thought.

Afternoon Just a quick one to say hello. I'm Matt. I pick up my Blue 2010 Octavia VRS TDI on Wednesday. It has DSG box with 68k on the clock. Test driven and deposit paid. Getting remapped tomorrow and mopped before collection so it will look good. Got the Carista so and Obd box arriving for some changes too. Here is a pic pre prep. Fingers crossed I won't bother people too much but heard this is a good forum. Cheers Matt
