There wasn't a race ending failure, that is correct. They used more than the mandated amount due to development of the engine. They took the calculated risks and penalties to further develop the engine. FIA prizegiving is on YouTube now.

Looks good so far! Might not be a 'real' technic set (the big excavator is loaded with technic, motors and electric, for example) but it will still be a blast to build.

My ordered Chiron should be at home now (but I still have to work).

What to believe? A lot is said. At first they had the same explanation, software fault. Now they say the opposite. Why? Not to have another clash with Renault? Questions, questions. Who to believe?

It is the only connection with the road. Even if you are not driving many miles per year, it still pays off if the car sticks instead of slides. Look at the Dunlop SportMaxx RT2 and the GoodYear Asymmetric3. In my opinion very good rubber for a decent price. And, throw away those ditchfinders

If the disc pads are sticky, you could try rocking the car (with the engine) forwards and backwards. You might be able to loosen the pads. If it has drums, it will be a lot more difficult. But you could be lucky.

Important, to silence the fan, is a diameter that is big enough to transport the air. If it is too small, the fan will start to flutter, because it cannot loose the air and will build up pressure. The pressure in the pipes will cause noise. If it can run freely, it will become much more silent. (my experience)

258 Bhp TDi & 381 Bhp TSi Engines?
magic62 replied to MaddicIrl's topic in Skoda Superb Mk III (2015 - 2023)
Someone not interested in cars made the website. If you multiply with 1.36 (which you should, if the power is in kW) you get the numbers. -
Didnt miss a second. What a race! Especially the last lap in GT Pro. Not good for your health...

And we didnt pass half way mark yet!

I am following live. Saw all the problems. First the Porsche #2 with e-motor probs. Than Toyo #8 with the same probs. Than Toyo #7 after SC having probs with the clutch. And now #9 out after the crash with the LMP2 car of Trummer (#25). #8 still in the race with a 30 lap deficit.

Not real! You cannot have this much bad luck!

Columbus RNS510 in 2007 Roomster Scout?
magic62 replied to b1ackb1rd's topic in Skoda Roomster (2006-2015)
A friend of my son has a Golf V, tried to code the RNS315 in the Golf. But unfortunately the Golf was a pre 2006 one. And exactely this car didnt have the right possibilities to code. From MY 2007 on (a car with Can Bus 2.0 based on the Golf V platform), it shouldnt be a problem. (just swap, code and swap back again) -
Columbus RNS510 in 2007 Roomster Scout?
magic62 replied to b1ackb1rd's topic in Skoda Roomster (2006-2015)
Even with the relay you will have problems to code the RNS 315 or 510 (dont know if you can access the 310). Had the relay in our Scout and it worked (with restrictions) with a RNS510, but to code I had to put it in my Octavia 1Z. In our other Roomster, the RNS315 works but no radio can be accessed with VCDS. (I would like to code the rear view cam but cannot access it. And I dont have my Octavia anymore) Other good thing (if you get the right one) of the RNS315 is the built in bluetooth. RNS510 needs an extra module or a parrot for that. The relay 5J0035751 has to be either soldered to the CAN lines, or you can buy one which already wired and has quad lock connectors (more expensive but also much easier to fit.) I had the relay and had to solder it (in our Scout).
