My dash warnings
The saga continues ,,,, the area master tech looked at it yesterday (15min) and declared that his equipment can’t find a fault , when challenged and shown the data readouts from another kwickfit branch he drove if as fast as he arrived , this mows leaves me totally discussed with kwickfit

My dash warnings
So an update to the continuing dash lights saga, this morning I was at another branch of kwikfit, this was to cross reference the fitting branches diagnosed findings, Todays results show the following ……….ne rear right wheel sensor was replaced in august with a new one by KF ….I’ve been advised to go back to the fitting branch and arrange for the area ”Master Tech” ( will he wear a mask and cape?) to come and diagnose the issue. I’m now getting irritated and thinking of going elsewhere , but was quoted £84 plus vat per hour for fault diagnostics then the cost of any repair by an independent ……..

That’s really helpful information thanks, so the next stage is a different branch of Kwickfit in. The morning (don’t shoot me just yet) are running a diagnostic check and a battery check . I have been informed by customer service that the branch had an up to date scan tool program for my car. If this doesn’t solve the issue then I’ll b3 on here begging for someone with the right equipment to help me out………..I’ll update as things progress,,,, thank you fir your support Craig

AGFalco …….. I believe it’s the right battery for the car (I’ll look at the make and model in the morning and add this to the thread) The battery was supplied and fitted by Kwickfit in August this year, along with a drivers side ABS wheel sensor , so I assume they know what they are doing but I’m now questioning this thought . I arrived at the workshop with the following warning lights on, tire pressure, ABS light, the skiddy car looking light. ALSO, No in traffic stop start function and No reverse parking sensors working (beeping) so after the considerable cost of the battery and the sensor , they gave I it back after the test drive and told me there is another 2 faults (000271 and 000181) not linked to ever the battery or new wheel sensor, that are causing the issues I describe above , I was told it’s a main control unit problem (?) …….. so as I say spent a considerable amount and it’s the same as the day I took it to them nta16……. I would assume that the garage (Kwickfit) had all the right tools and up to date diagnostics programs? Although I’m loosing confidence in them as they were bit sketchy with their answers to my questions, ,,,,I would be happy to pay (as you nation) beer tokens or even champagne tokens to anyone in Essex /kent /Herts that can solve, stop and rectify this this problem for me once and for all…. . here’s hoping……..

Some warning lights have started appearing -on my mk3 fabia 1.4 diesel dash, specifically the tyre pressure warning, ABS, Park assist(rear ) . Also the start-stop system no longer functions either. I’m assuming it is a central malfunction such as some kind of junction box. Any ideas on how to diarise, replace with new or second hand ? Thanks
