  1. I know it is and that is why Skoda is better because it is a extra option. In my opinion acc is terrible unfortunately you can't switch it off.
  2. Success. I had to pay them extra 90 pounds for cancellation of Skoda and ordering a Golf. It will cost me 330 pm instead of 253 but I had a Golf R 7.5 for 5 months and part from seats and adaptive cruise control everything is better in VW. And waiting time is 12 weeks not 26.
  3. Vrs 245 dsg hatch in corrida red with dcc and spare wheel for 2 years with 8k a year will cost me about 6800 ( including fee ) Golf r 310 dsg awd in white with dcc for 2 years with 8k a year will cost me about 8800 ( including fee ) Tomorrow morning I'm calling my lease company and Im hoping they will allow me to cancel skoda and replace it with golf. It is only 77 pounds more a month. I wont have to wait so long and it is much better car overall. Fingers crossed edit: you can get it down to 8600 with uchoose contracts
  4. Mine was 16800 for 3 years including maintenance with 12k a year ...lapiz blue, dcc and dynaudio and it was worth it. Fantastic car. I recommend it to everybody. Vrs 245 is a disappointment compare to golf r.
  5. There are great deals for estate golf r right now but when I see that people are picking rear camera, keyless entry or mobile charging point over dcc well that is shocking.
  6. There are not many cars which sound better than Subaru and it is a combination of boxer engine and exhaust.
  7. Well...I had a chance to test drive vrs245 with standard speakers and that was one of the worst sound systems I have ever heard. I think only Impreza STI had worst. But there was a lovely engine sound to compensate. After watching few reviews I'm confident that upgraded sound system in not worth extra 500 pounds. But we all have different standards so it might be ok for others.
  8. It all depends what are you getting for your money. In my case: 6800 in total 2 year lease / 8k mileage a year Red corrida / dcc / spare wheel
  9. She confirmed that mine will be build and I have ordered it on 10/11/17. I know I will have to wait for it but it is ok as long as I will get it.
  10. With such low year mileage only petrol is worth considering.
  11. I had it all the time in Golf R. Nothing special to be honest.
  12. If you decide to go for golf r estate you won't regret it. It is a fantastic car. Much much better than vrs 245. Just dont forget to pick dsg and dcc.
  13. I'm a little bit worried now. I ordered mine on 10/11/17. Because it is a lease I don't have much confidence that I will get it
  14. What is the point of getting vrs and driving in eco mode :/ When I get mine it won't come off sport that is for sure.
  15. Mine will be corrida red but I like meteor grey more. Unfortunately DCC is more important than colour
  16. I was thinking about canton sound system upgrade but all articles and yt reviews were negative :(
  17. Before ordering mine I had a chance to watch and read loads of reviews in 4 different languages. Most of them came to a same conclusion...
  18. I think yours is better You will notice how great is DCC when you set in individual mode everything to sport and suspension to comfort.
  19. Well Im going for a lease as well and total cost for 2 year lease with 8k a year is 6840 pounds that is with dsg and dcc. It is a bargin. I would never consider spending 27k on this car. Golf is so much better only for 7k more
  20. After my visit to Skoda Salford and a test drive in vrs 245. I can confirm that this car without DCC is not a sporty car and it is not a comfortable ride either. The feeling and responsive of a steering is poor. I didn't feel like I was in a race/sport mode. Driving around potholes in Salford wasn't pleasant. On motorway it was ok but knowing now how much different it can be in comfort mode I'm 100% confident that DCC is actually cheap for what you are getting.
  21. I had a golf r 7.5 with dcc and differences between sport mode and comfort were massive. I'm going to drive vrs without dcc tomorrow and I'm sure it will be awful on fast corners and roundabouts. I've watched loads of reviews about vrs without it and most people verdict is not to buy it without dcc.
