  1. If the rear brake seize when parked there is an easy answer - remove the wheel trim, put a socket spanner on one of the wheel bolts and hit it with a hammer. The drum rings like a bell and the shoes release themselves.
  2. If your rear windscreen washer ceases to work it is probably because the pipe has come adrift on the engine bulkhead . It is a loose friction fit and can pop off. I cured mine permenently with a short length of pipe and two small jubilee clips
  3. Slackening the handbrake cables at the handbrake end also helps when removing the rear drums. I could not find the lever through the bolt hole and could not slacken the shoes other than by slackening the cables.
