  1. I'm glad you agree as I have said to the owners/mech the problem cannot be resolved by looking at a computer screen there is a fault in the system and if they can't resolve it after 14000 miles and nearly two years then I should be given a replacement car but the owner of the franchise will not do this for me but will always fob me off and skoda uk are listening to him and not me and I am discussed with this bad attitude .
  2. Hi the car is used every day and normally goes on the motorway and we pull a caravan as well which makes no difference to when the problem accurs .
  3. I would have but I tow a little coachman caravan and with the max torque coming in so high up the rev band it's like driving a two stroke which is all or nothing ,I suppose I'm used to the psa Peugeot lump which pulls from a low rpm .
  4. Hi they replaced lot of items like injector and butterfly valve unit plus numerous updates to the system and said it would be ok but after that we were on a run to Poitiers in France and only got outside of Rouen and it went wrong so we had to spend four hours in the skoda dealership for the mech to say that the item shows as faulty were the same ones that were just replaced so he deleted the screen and when we got back to GB skoda U.K. Dealer said we never went into a dealership in France but we were told by the breakdown service to go to there skoda dealer in Rouen so we now after 14000 miles of fretting are back to square one .
  5. Hi all I bought a l&k yeti new and have had adblue problems from a few hundred miles it has been in and out of the dealers from new up to now and is still a problem with it and every time it goes in they say it's my fault for over filling ? how can I over fill using the gravity fed bottles with the shut off valve then do 150 miles and the engine management light on and the adblue showing 650 miles then 600 then later it goes back up to 650 ,very annoying .I have been onto skoda uk twice with this problem and they can't help at all it's up to the dealer.all they say it try it out ,now the car has done 14000 miles and it will go wrong yet again but if I the worse case my 69 year old wife is going to my sisters in the middle of France and it decide to shut down as up til now they don't know what's is wrong with it .totally frustrated
  6. If the people/ producers are using floats in the 21st century want a good swift kick up the jacksy as how could an off road vehicle which will be going at all types of angles use a float that will get stuck .
  7. Float ? What float I was told that it was a sensor as it only reads the lower level of adblue when it reads approximately enough for it to set off the 1500 miles .
  8. Thank you for that info as the mech at the dealers always say my problems are caused by myself so after 8 times now I have got on complaints dept for the second time now and will see what happens .
  9. Hi I have had problems from the day I picked my yeti diesel up,and it's still going on but every time I fill it up using the bottle 1.89 LTD they say it's over filled and that's why it's shows up on the maxi dot but they will not listen to my side of the story .IA think the yeti is a great car but the adblue screws it righ up .it a shame .
