I went the opposite to you. Had a sport blue Octy Vrs and changed for Meteor Grey in Superb 🤣 I agree the side skirts look great. Maxton Design is the company I got them from. If you're not in a hurry for them, they usually do a 20% off sale on black Friday (end of November). There are some more pics on page 33 of the superb 3 owners page but here's one of the skirts

I'm new to the Superb thread having traded in my 2015 Octavia VRS for a new face lift Superb Sportline. I dropped from the diesel 184bhp VRS to a petrol 150 bhp 1.5 petrol but I have absolutely no regrets. I absolutely love the Superb and it's perfect for the driving I do. I've added my own touches to it. Colour coded front emblem, wind deflectors, German style writing on plates (not everyone's taste, I know), front splitter, side skirts, upper rear window spoiler, rear diffuser, sprayed the chrome false exhausts black and sprayed the wheels anthracite grey (not a fan of the polished finish).

I've had my 2.0 TDi DSG black pack for the last 7 months. Absolutely love it. Made a few additions. No changes to power etc. Finally got some photos of it clean. 3 course Meguiars, compound, polish and wax. Great results

I think th GM is better than the black too. I've the anthracite geminis on mine and don't think I'd ever swap for black. Plus I think the GM goes well with your mirrors

Had to cut the mud flaps around the skirts with a Stanley blade. Took a while!

Obviously it looks good in the photos. But what's it like in the flesh? Does it add to the car? Finish it off so to speak? I had a look at it again on Maxton site and realised it was €110. I thought I'd looked before and it was closer to €200. Mixed it up with something else I assume. Mmmmmmm!

Hey there. He basically said that by just putting lowering springs on a car without the proper shocks etc will put the cars geometry completely out of line and will cause too many problems. Also told me never to put wheel spacers on as they will put strain on the wheel bearings and over time will damage them. Maybe those who have done these mods have had their cars done probably with all the associated geometries re aligned etc. But sounds like more trouble than it's worth IMO. This guy is a top mechanic a long time so I accept what he says

Bummer about the customs. Where did you order it from? Can't wait to see spoiler cap although I really hope I don't like it at all. Because if I do I'll need to fork out more dosh. Nooooooooo

Fantastic. Can't wait to see the spoiler cap. I spoke to a mechanic who strongly advised me against lowering or wheel spacers. Said if I wanted to fill the arches to get 19" wheels instead. Certainly don't have the dosh for that so looks like it'll be staying as is. Still love it though

Yeah they don't really get the whole car mod thing. I'm lucky my wife has her own arts and crafts hobby so I get away with it
