  1. My 64 plate Citigo does that sometimes, especially in the winter when the interior of the car is cold. When it starts to click, I find pushing the peddle slightly to the left or the right seems to stop it.
  2. Have you any details? Does it come on with the main light as you open the door?
  3. Cheers andyvee, I've tried connecting with androidauto on/off, Bluetooth connected/off, Tried different cables. Every combination & car still shows a connection error. However Mirror link seems to work fine, so I'll stick with that. It just bugs me because my mobile is not mirrorlink compatible. Just as well that my car is a Citigo. My phone connects via Bluetooth to my PID with no problem I'll try again sometime with my phone when I have a few spare moments, I'll post the results if I find a particular fix..... Thanks again for your help!
  4. Thanks andyvee, Got Sygic to work using mirrorlink. Still don't know why I can't get AndriodAuto to work - tried 2 different android phones and neither would connect.
  5. Got wired connection, can't get androidauto to connect, but can connect via mirrorlink - however says no apps. Will Waze work with mirrorlink?
  6. Had a look today, and both Lhs & Rhs led units look the same, although only the drivers side illuminate when you select reverse. Looks like it will be a trip back to the dealership. Does it only have rear fog lights on drivers side as well?
  7. I don't know if anyone can help? We don't have built in sat nav, so thought I could use my phone. Phone is syncs with car (phone and music) and even got mirrorlink to contact. However car says no apps. How do I get googlemaps to show / display? Or can you recommend another navigation app that is compatible? Thanks in advance J
  8. Does it come with road kill stickers that you can stick onto the front wing or door ????
  9. Thanks, I'll have a good look tomorrow in the day light.
  10. Badgers or Skoda engineering ????
  11. Can you post a picture of the car with long aerial?
  12. I have a question, The other night I noticed that my wife's Kodiaq SE only has reversing lights on the drivers side. I haven't had a chance to look at the passenger side (NS) because it has been dark, but should it have reversing lights on both sides of the car? My wife has commented before that it's got crap rear illumination - I've always replied that's why Skoda offer a rear camera. But with hindsight one reversing light isn't very good. I notice the video clip above show a pair of reversing lights (#Silver1011) I've spoken to our local Skoda dealer, and they have confirmed that they only have Off Side reversing lights in the UK - is this true????? They said that the photo with lights on both side are probably European spec cars - If true why change for UK spec??????
  13. I know it's not a new thing, but just because you can doesn't mean its a good thing....... I just think it might be a bit OTT on a VW UP - ideas of grandeur springs to mind. I'm sure it sounds great !!!!!!
  14. Has anyone seen the write up in Auto Express about Tubo UP? This made me laugh: "The 113bhp served up by the turbocharged three-cylinder is combined with 200Nm of torque, available from 2,000rpm. The engine is one of Volkswagen’s new generation 1.0-litre TSI stop/start units creeping into new cars across the VW Group’s various brands. Now though, it’s the beating heart of the fastest up! yet. It should deliver a classic three-cylinder thrum, but a sound actuator means that those in the cabin will get a synthetic exhaust note piped through the speakers". The sound actuator would probably have to be one of the first things to be switch off / disable !!!
  15. Would be good if you could get them here. However not sure which would be cheaper supplied and fitted - camera or these?
  16. Unfortunately this has happened to my wife & I a few years ago in our Citroën C8 and that's in Sunny Surrey. The nutter jumped out of his car & tried to open the drivers door. When he couldn't he started punching and kicking the car. Luckily the lights changed and we drove off, leaving him standing.
  17. I'm one month into ownership of a 64 plate Citigo and my clutch pedal has just started to click (10,000 miles), however the strange one is it only happens in the cold weather. Once the heating kicks in and the car interior has warmed up - no clicking. While cold it click on pressing or releasing the clutch, right at the last couple millimetres of upper travel. Any ideas???
  18. Which fuse number (controls what function) did you piggyback onto, and is it a switched fuse? Thanks in advance. J.
  19. Cheers Hyphons. I was wondering about opening the side panel, but didn't know if you could access/reach the switch from there - thanks for the tip. I just didn't know if 2nd click (rear fog) would work if 1st click didn't get any power as no front fogs. I suppose its worth a try - could always sell on switch again if it doesn't work in my car !!!

  21. I would like to do this modification, but I don't have front fog lights. Do you think this switch would still work? Also I don't seem to be able to remove the original light switch. I set it to OFF, pushed the switch into the dash okay, but if try and turn towards the sidelight setting (clockwise) nothing happens except it turns the lights on. The switch doesn't seem to want to rotate or move. Any ideas?
  22. Snaefell, I believe if the car is involved in an accident the locks are released. This also happens if you have manually locked the car via the locking button.
  23. Mine is a 64 plate & the dealer enabled the auto lock for me a week after I collected it. I'm I correct in believing that they also need to install the auto unlock as it's a completely different software code? I must admit they didn't believe me that the Citigo could be programmed to auto-lock @ 10 mph. Looks like I going to have to convince them that it can auto-unlock as you remove the key !!!
  24. This might be a bit of a numpty question but, my 5 door Citigo SE, auto locks itself at approx 9 - 10 mph but doesn't unlock itself once you switch off and remove the ignition key. I even looked at the owners handbook and it says that the car should unlock once you remove the ignition key - does others? The car does unlock fully if I press the unlock button on the drivers door or on the key, but if i just open the drivers door all other doors remained locked. Is this something I can activate myself (series of button presses etc) or will I need the main dealer to activate this key removal unlock function? Thanks in advance for your help. J.
