  1. Yeah good point and i suppose it's VW underneath so good quality. My mate has a golf thats got 170k miles on it and it runs perfectly because hes really taken care of it.
  2. Yeah i'm soon moving to a larger commute and in my current car (4.2L V8) i need something more economical. Still deciding on lease or used. Do these cars last longer than 120k miles? There's loads in my budget but theyre 100K miles plus.
  3. Sorry made mistake, it's 211 a month without servicing or the Canton upgrade. Still the VRs TDI though. Deposit is £2000, term is 23 month payments of 211 (15k mileage per year).
  4. Yeah am not interested in rude boy levels of bass/sound. Just a regular music lover that likes good quality sound (into pink floyd queen and stuff).
  5. Ok so i wont go to halfords haha! I've managed to get a lease deal on a brand new VRs WITH Canton for £211 a month (15k mileage) so might go for that.
  6. Thing is, RS3 start price is about £43k the VRs is nearly half that. It's like comparing an RS3 to a Nissan GTR (£90k). You get what you pay for
  7. Okay mate thanks alot! I was going to get one of the elegance models as some come with Canton, but if it's easy to get someone to install it then that means I can get a VRs
  8. Wait, you're saying you don't need an Amp for your subs? How does this work? I put a huge sub in my old golf and that required a seperate amp. Yeah i'll probably go for the whole shebang get Halfords or equivalent to put a decent sound system. I'd be willing to pay about £250 for it all.
  9. Hi guys am looking to get a MK3 Octavia but one of the main things in a car for me is a good sound system. I've read that Canton is the best one but there are HARDLY any cars with them for sale. The rest have standard system. My question is how much would it cost say.. Halfords to upgrade the stock one? Cheers
