Ah with you now! Like the one you saw mine is a 64 plate, a quick Google search on images and it's 64 plate ones that come up with that colour coding in white so possibly just a variant for that year. First car I've bought based on looks and performance as opposed to all my previous ones based on practicality and intended use and I love it!!! -

Or do you mean the bit either side of the Skoda badge that is white on mine? -

All the images in the Monte Carlo register thread have the same colour coded grill -

No totally different. As far as I'm aware the grille is standard to the Monte Carlo Black Edition. -

Just picked up my 2014, 1.2 TSI 105, candy white, black edition Monte Carlo last night, Appears as standard and has 16k on the clock. On way home found the dipped headlights not too bad but main beam woeful so I'll need to look into bulbs etc for that! Compared to my business Renault Trafic I'm really pleased with it other than the bulbs -
I'm looking for some help in changing the on board trip computer display. I picked up my 2014 Fabia Monte Carlo last night and can't seem to manage to bring up MPG, etc on the display. I paired my phone with the MFD so now when I start the car the phone connects and the display between the speedo and rev counter shown battery, signal and name of phone. If I press the trip buttons on the end of the right stalk I can then access phone book and a few other phone related categories and lastly go back. Pressing the button on the bottom of that stalk enters phone book etc as displayed. I cannot seem to get out of the phone menu to display things like MPG, mileage to empty, etc. Also below the phone info there is a speed displayed in km/h which to me is useless, I'd much rather see AVG MPG or range instead. There must be a way to change this and with only 3 buttons I'm sure it can't be hard but no combination of pushing seems to work and the manual help much. Any tips would be greatly appreciated!!!! Thanks

Hi another Skoda newbie here, based in Midlothian. Picked up my 3 yr old Fabia Monte Carlo last night, candy white, black edition, and very pleased with it's performance so far. I've been driving a Renault Trafic van for the last 18 months whilst I got my business established so it's good to have a car again! Hopefully I'll pick up some hints and tips along the way on here!
