  5. hey folks, lately i've been looking at other cars, ( i have a fabia vrs) the three i have tested so far were the fiesta ST, Clio 182 and the Civic type r. the fiesta was nice but didn't really think it was much quicker than the fabia and certainly wouldn't change that fabia for one, the clio was quick, everything about it was good, but in the back of my head i'm thinkin HAIRDRESSER!!? the type r was my favourite and just goes and goes, however after each test drive i got back in my car and it didn't feel slow, and i didn't think "this is ****" i thought bloody hell i'm doing 80 already and i can't hear a thing, effortless, oh and i'm in a diesel (CHEAP!) this has made me want to keep it:D:thumbup: however i'm thinkin about remappin it... i'm thinkin this will with out a doubt void(shaft) my warrenty? am i rite? i have yet to speak to my skoda dealler about the matter. whats yours said? cheers, Stu.
  6. i've ordered the part, cost just over a tenner altogether. just for future reference i might just yank the old one and see if it comes off:D its mingin anyway! stu.
  7. cheers, think i might take the bumper off and have a good look at the back of it, just incase i break something. stu
  8. hey there, any one know if the front number plate surround can be removed from the front bumper. fabia vrs bumper. if so, how? stu
  9. did what car magazine or something like that not do different test runs and get 7. on a really cold day saying the car was breathing better or something...i don't want someone to jump down my throat saying BullS*&t but i sware i read that somewhere.... stu
  10. hi folks, just wandering if the front number plate surround on my fabia Vrs can be removed from the bumper, and whats left when its removed, and if you can get replacement ones as i've got screw holes at the very ends of my number plate, and i'm gettin a new reg which will mean the plate is shorter, thus exposing the screw holes. any thoughts? cheers, Stu.
  11. oh! yeah! ..... i got the car back, turbo and intercooler changed out, oil and filter change too. he said the turbo blades were all cracked and broken to bits. i asked why this would have happened and he just said faulty parts. anyway i finally got it. now i've just gotta get my wheels sorted courtesy of skoda road assist as the finish got wrecked when the car was tied up to the recovery truck...
  12. yay!!!! car is finally ready 9 days they had it! away to see what he says when i pick it up. stu.
