  1. Bertie probably around minus 5 and that's being generous. Just leave alone then xman? Ok cheers Awaoffski
  2. Does anyone here change oil specifically for winter? If so what do you go for?
  3. I have the Amundsen+ has SatNav+BT. Can I just attach a DAB aerial to the car and off I go?
  4. Yeah that's fine then, last thing I need is to do more damage to the car.
  5. I reverse park most places these days, more through not wanting to reverse out of a space.
  6. Ah ok, so bottom of car, bumper splitter and all that jazz is safe?
  7. Forgot about speed bumps, I'll measure it and then deduct the 40mm and see where it sits. Cheers
  8. Yeah looking at those pics I reckon mine maybe getting lowered. @JGrindel how is the ride quality compared to factory spec?
  9. Had to use a scraper just last week, heard that demon stuff being advertised on the radio.
  10. I live in Scotland lol, every day is cold up here. My old Fabia was fine last year, just used a scraper where required, doors opened fine on it.
  11. So all ready for some wintry fun. No need for the fix. Tank filled up - No Tyre pressures done -check later +2 psi. Coolant/Anti-freeze done. Nice clean dry air filter in and fuel filter - nope. Screen wash and de-icer bought. Don't use de-icer, bad for the rubber on wipers. Screenwash is topped up and 2l bottle ready mixed in boot. Door seals sprayed with silicone spray, door locks ok.
  12. Seen all manner of VAG vechiles having issues after the fix.
  13. A service action is available for your vehicle. The EA 189 diesel engine in your vehicle with the Vehicle Identification Number you entered is affected by the EA 189 NOx emissions issue. We would like to reassure you that independent testing authorities have confirmed that there will be no negative impact on engine performance, maximum torque, fuel consumption, noise and CO2 emissions as a result of having this update applied. (Except the update f***s the EGR valve up..) Please either use our booking tool or contact your local Retailer to book your vehicle in for the service action. Of course, you won’t be charged for having the work completed.
  14. My elm OBD doesn't work for some reason I'll get my pal to check it when I get a chance. What version was the original, do you know?
