Hey all, I have asked these question separately before but can’t seem to find the thread. After winter I’m planning on lowering my VRS , going 19’s , H&R springs and spacers also. People Les who have done this before can I get some advice what’s best, how low and what’s size spacers, I have a family of five, well three kids and me and the wife so car is full all the time. Don’t want any issue with arches and scraping. attached the wheels, offset etc any helps or pics please, thankyou

They are 19x8.5 so u think a ET45 is best ? I’ll go for that -

Pre face lift, no not going the extremes, it’s the bola b11’s I’m going for. ET35 sounds good , I’ll eventually do spacers aswell -
Away to order up some wheels for the car, can some giver advice on which offset is best? They offer et 35 , eat 40, or et 45, not sure what to pick, any preferences? I’ll also be lowering the car to .

I’m pretty sure it effects our mpg, as when your in driving data and stick the ac on then fuel usage goes up. I’m the same I use A.C. but not often. Would rather have the little extra power,

New pollen filter today and set off the bomb, smells amasing, also did the cleaner to to make sure. All seems very good so far
-
I you tubed a video and seems pretty straight forward. I’m going for the filter and bomb and if it doesn’t work then smoke bomb it is haha
-
Ok so the air con button should be on all the time ? Does that not mean it’s active all the time?
-
Mine is the same age, must just be a thing I’m guessing. Glad it’s a fix I can do myself. Hate paying for something to be fixed that I could do myself . I’ve bought a filter the bomb and the ac cleaner aswell, but will do the filter and bomb first

Thank you very much, got everything for £22 from europarts will pick it up tomorrow and do the job, once pollen filter was mentioned I thought hmm it may be the filter. Great advice everyone thankyou, will update once I’ve cleaned the filter and dropped the bomb haha

Thanks for that. I’ll give them a try out. I’ve not turned it off it just doesn’t come on unless I turn it on. Maybe in winter I’ll have to give it a run to make sure I’m not getting the build up. I’ll give the bits at europarts a try :-)
