No DCC and it's been fine around Manchester's horrible roads over the past few days. Much more comfortable than any "sporty" spec car I've had before.

Snap. 45-90minute commute for me depending on traffic. Was sick and tired of the diesel Astra. This DSG should make life a while lot easier too...

Mine was delivered this morning too. Very impressed with it so far, totally worth the wait! Had a quick scroll through the menus and spotted the first service is due at 19k miles. This can't be right, surely?!?

We paid an extra £150ish to switch from an Astra halfway through a multi-car policy. I know this sounds a lot but I'm quite pleased with it as my wife has points on her licence, still has a claim on her record and we live in an area with a high risk rating with insurers. Off topic again, I'm due to take delivery of my 245 today, is there anything in particular I need to look out for during the handover?

Mine should arrive at the PDI centre the day after tomorrow. How long do they usually take to turn them around and deliver? Ordered 14th November.

Mine is also "awaiting ship" according to my lease agent. Should get delivery first week of April from what I've been told.

Hi, thanks for the advice. Shortly after posting earlier I got confirmation from the lease company that the car went into production this week and I should expect delivery around the first week of April. I'm in no great rush but at least I know how long I have to get my current car tidied up and advertised to be sold. Even more excited now! Good luck everyone else.

Hi all, have been following this thread for a few months now and thought share my experience so far. I placed my order via a lease company 14th November and was quoted 18-20 weeks with a likeleyhood of that getting cut shorter as "Skoda are due to allocate more build slots..." but was given absolutely no clue about build weeks etc. I patiently waited for updates but none came so began chasing 8 weeks after placing my order. After chasing a couple of times last month I was told my vehicle was expected to go into production in build week 10... Which I think is this week, right? I've had no confirmation this week that this has actually happened so not getting my hopes up. Have given up hassling the lease company so I guess it'll be a nice surprise when it eventually arrives. Super excited about the 245. Have always been a fan of the vRS and this will be my first Skoda ever. Fingers crossed... DSG hatch in Red btw. No other options added.
