A relative had an issue with a window regulator, ordered a new one, and set about taking the drivers door card off to replace it. At this point, they came across the wiring loom that operates the drivers window console, and being a patient and sensible type, put a pair of scissors through it, separating the controller from the car. I've got the connector block separated now, the cable was cut on the car side, as opposed to the window switch console, someone tried to solder lengths of wiring in, to make it possible to solder straight onto the cut wires, but I would rather just replace the pins in the connector block. I've managed to get them out, so would now need to put replacement pins on the wires, and click them back in. It looks relatively straightforward, but I don't know if I can just use pliers to put the wires into the pins, or if I need some manner of specialist tool. Attached photo is of the 'pins' that I need to connect, obviously this one is connected, but the rest of them are just cut to the bare wire. Do these pins just crimp, or are they soldered?
