Haven't actually used it since the update, so cant comment. However, it can't be much worse. For some reason my car (2017 Octavia), when in France, insists on turning off the autoroute at *every* junction, going for a brief detour, and then rejoining at the same junction. It also wants to drive through every service area. It recently did the same on the M6. No, there were no traffic problems! Must admit I am unsurprised at the software problems VW had with the ID3. My other car (Leaf) is vastly superior: over the air updates, none of that stupid spinning wait while the nav system gets its act together, sensible destination entry (why is postcode entry on the VW system only visible after you select "city", and then is labelled "PTCD"? Even when it works the route selection can only be described as eccentric, taking you all round the houses for a simple trip. BTW, does anyone know how to discover if you have "Amundsen" "Columbus" or "MIB3"? I took a guess, and luckily it seems to work. Neither the update site not the car manual gives any clue.

I'm having a basic problem with this: all the update images on the Update Portal seem to be corrupt. I've tried all available decompression tools under MacOS, Linux and (yuk!) Windows. They all agree that none of the image files are valid compressed images. Where do I go (apart from a dealer, and I foresee £ signs if I do that!)
