Similar failure rate for the Skoda Rapid. Guess what? Mine passed because: Its serviced on time I check it over a few times a week I check the tyres and bulbs I ensure its spotless when it goes for its MOT.

No. Took mine in for a recent service. They disconnected the dash cam but only took off the rear camera connection! The main front camera is hard wired. No warranty issues at all.

For around £150 you can get a front and rear dashcam with motion detection. Hardwired in.

I just paid £160 for a 4th year warranty which I feel is good value. Just had the 3 year service and warranty checks and had a years Skoda breakdown cover for free. I have used Capitol Skoda in Newport for my dealer servicing and have found them excellent. Cheaper than the independents for Mot and brake fluid change.

How can it void the warranty?. Its a piggyback fuse and earth wire to a bolt by the fuse box. I purchased the nextbase 322 with rear window camera. £150 With hard wire kit and SD card. Fitted it myself in 20 minutes. The top of the range 522 was only around £50 more but I did not need Alexa. Halfords fit for under £40.

You lost me when the mention of USA class action came in. They just love to claim. I would put it down to experience as it's very unlikely to happen to you again. Cheap car for someone.

Seems to be a bit of conflict, fills car with air freshener then sparks up a fag!.

I recently purchased some Bosch wiper blades from Halfords after typing in my registration number. They were the wrong type but the Halfords own brand fitted with the supplied clips. Found that strange as my previous Bosch ones were the same as the above photos, clipped straight on.

I have no condensation issues with my 2016 spaceback but leave the air con switched on all year (hot and cold settings).

I put them on speaker phone and shout out to the wife that we are having a huge payout and that family holiday to Florida is a bit closer. They then panic and hang up. I try to keep them talking though to ensure their time is wasted.

Just had my first MOT and brake fluid change on the Spaceback at Capitol Newport. £88 all in which for a main dealer I thought was excellent value for money. I had a few months left of my approved warranty which included any MOT work. I didnt need it as the car passed with no advisories. Usually excellent service from Jenny Cox.

It's cheaper on PCP because the Volvo residual would be higher at the end of the PCP. That's why a Citroen C1 is more a month than a Citigo

Bought my approved Skoda Rapid Spaceback from Marshall's Barnstaple 2 years ago this week. I had 2 years warranty and breakdown cover. I had a leaky water pump changed locally to me in Capitol Newport no quibble. The car otherwise has been excellent. I would not worry about the distance. The video and service gave me confidence and the best deal in the country at the time. I have just had a video through from Bristol Skoda on a Citigo for my daughter. You may pay a little extra but its worry free motoring.

Welcome, great car. You are probably aware that not even the glass on the Fabia WRC resembles the standard car! I have had my Rapid Spaceback for 2 years and it has been faultless.
