I have searched and searched for help and answers on wiring a sub and amp to a Mk3 Octavia with an admundsen headunit. The problem is finding a remote live. Years ago remote lives were blue so easy to wire up. The back of the multimedia plug has hardly any different coloured wires. There’s lots of wires but no blue. How can it be that hard to find a remote live. It’s just a live that turns on with the ignition and doesn’t stay on constantly. Has anyone got any advise, images or help on this matter.

Hi. can anyone help in performance upgrades on my 65 plate Octavia VRS TDI 184ps. I’ve just brought the car but had 2 previous as company cars which I wasn’t allowed to touch. It’s still under warranty so don’t want to go stupid yet (just in case) so no remaps at present. I’ve been looking at filters and chips but think a chip will void the warranty. Is it also true that you can get the car to 230ps without doing to much. thanks andy
