yes there is still a gearbox issue and that hasn't changed, I'm getting a second opinion on the gearbox issue. but its good the gearbox symptom hasn't changed.

I drove it on a longer spin yesterday and now i think the noise might just be a rear wheel bearing .... getting it checked/fixed tomorrow

if the gearbox is being taken out for repair should i also replaces clutch packs and flywheel? 70k (miles ) on the car .. any ideas on costs ?

hey John, thanks for responding.. I don't own the car from new...I think it had one dsg oil change but when i went to change dsg oil i was advised there is no point in changing the oil as the fault was present i understand 6sp dsg issues are not unusual, is that true ? Yes i plan on getting it looked at by a gearbox specialist also.

Hi Guys the 6 sp DSG in my 2010 Superb combi is failing.. Skoda are telling me it is most likely going to need a complete gearbox replacement !! symptoms - sometimes fails to engage reverse and can be "jerky" on take off, but now its also noisy. any advise on options or costs? thanks
