I Did not buy from a Skoda dealer but from a local dealer in Brentwood, and it had a Service stamp from Skoda but the service before the sale was performed by the local garage and it has details of that too. Yes i would need to check with garage which he works in how much can they work for servicing the car for.

Ok whatever the case, what options do I have now 1. Do a service from Skoda in the next 2000 odd miles, as this has already driven for 8500 odd miles Or 2. Change just Oil and filter and service in November 2018

Hi -Spoke to the mechanic but need to understand the answers to the question, it was serviced and oil was changed in Dec but do not know what Oil has been used, will get that checked and also the service indicator question, if i did not knew answers to these question safe bet is to change the oil and filer ?

Hi All, I got a warning light this morning "Oil Change", did not had an option and drove till my office, called my usual garage to check and the mechanic friend advised that i can drive this for another six months as this is u just an alarm for yearly service, I then checked the Oil level and this is also fine. I have driven 8000 miles after i got this car in Dec 2018, my question is that will i fine to drive this warning light until my next service which is around Novemeber'18 or is it advisable to change the Oil before that Can anyone please help here?

Hi All, Today i realized that my wind shield liquid has finished but to my surprise i could not see any warning lights on the dashboard panel, my question in the manual i think it says there will be should i be expecting any warning lights for other failure or will i have to regularly check and refilling like break fluid, Oil etc Can anyone point me in right direction.

Hi All, Been reading a few of post here and kind of confused, let me describe what i am looking for and asking help from fellow SKODA FABIA members, I currently own a 2013 Skoda Fabia 1.2 12V 60 PS and have a boring MP3 player which doesn't support Bluetooth, fortunately has AUX which helps a lot. But looking around for something which can help in Navigation and play music, does help in reversing with a cam and provide some vital information about car and its running like MPG, fuel consumption etc Someone suggested that the link (https://www.aliexpress.com/item/VW-Skoda-POLO-GOLF-5-6-PASSAT-CC-JETTA-TIGUAN-TOURAN-Fabia-Caddy-skoda-superb-fabia/32621985431.html?spm=2114.13010608.0.0.N5IYJs) will be good but might be slow, confused me again. Can i request members here to suggest something which is cheaper and reliable, not looking to invest more than £200, also does SKODA support Andriod head?

Thanks @AwaoffSki buddy, but i just wanted if there is way my car can do that but i believe it isn't possible unfortunately have to revert to manual mode

Also can you let me know anything specifically that i need to look out in my car, i am pretty novice in driving in UK and never drove Skoda Fabia before. All i needed was a no nonsense car which i think it is but will need someone professional to let me know.

Thanks yes there is not button on the underside of stalk either, so it must be a very basic version. Yeah i just wanted to calculate my MPG as they sold me for 50 + on motorways but that is not the case i believe.

Thanks Buddy, I will try your suggestion on the right hand stalk and see if that display. I personally feel my tyres need their pressure checked, will do that then notice if that is still the case. IF that then i will have to show this to someone before going back to my dealer as still have warranty with them.

Hi Everyone, I have just bought a SKODA used car which is registered in 2013 July, its a SKODA FABIA 1.2 12V S 60 PS I have few questions on the car:- 1. Like other cars does this display MPG usage, if yes how can i set up i have am being confused when i read the manual as it doesn't have A or B buttons to set up what i want on Dashboard 2. How long with current fuel in tank 3. Is my car a MK II or MK I, i have no idea what is the difference Also is there any thing that i should be aware of this car, I feel that post 70 MPG i am losing control and also there when WInd blows i cannot drive faster, i could feel the wind on the MOtorways (is this common). Sorry for asking so many questions which may have been repeated, couldn't find much information insearch Thanks a ton Subbu
