  1. Must have been built the day after Happy Hour at the factory bar.
  2. I ended up getting mine properly detailed after collection. Guy said the condition of the paint was pretty bad (save for the iron contamination I didn't think it too bad!)but he was really impressed with it once he had worked his magic (so was i). Despite that he said it was one of the better new cars he had seen. The worse one was a Beemer he had done recently!
  3. Are rails standard on every Octy estate? Would be surprised if they weren't on the 230.
  4. As above, things you do yourself are a pita but you get over them. Things done by other people make me see red.
  5. Got one on mine as well. Rear passenger side. My wife did it....
  6. That would make sense as I mine was telling me that it cannot down date the firmware; ended up ticking the do not show me this again box. Problem solved! Need to give my wife's iphone a go though to see if that does anything.
  7. I have Kessy and they fold our when unlocking the door at the handle.
  8. Cheers. Not thinking about the actual instrument cluster. Hadn't noticed that. More the hood above it. Think it is just optical illusion but does look a bit odd.
  9. This is a bit of a weird one. The cowl over the instrument cluster. I could swear mine is leaning to the left...but not sure whether this is intended or an optical illusion. It bugs me occasionally...then forget about it. But was looking at it this evening and can't work out how it would do it if not intentional. Anyone else noticed this?
  10. Haha! Just seen the other thread! Congrats. Hope you are pleased with the Seat!
  11. Mate stop beating you self up. I don't have a 230 but it as near as dammit looks like one. Was I a little bit miffed that Skoda ballsed the release so I didn't get one. Yes. Does it even cross my mind when I am in my VRS enjoying it. No. Do I miss the diff? No. My car still moves and drives well on the roads and for the driving I need. And it looks the dog's. And I have the extra dosh on my pocket. You will enjoy your car when it arrives I promise!
