  1. Good evening. Roof rails for SW/Combi can be retrofitted. You need 4 metal supports for rails (5E9817905, 5E9817906, 5E9817421, 5E9817422) and a way to bond them to roof side support, since they are spot welded to roof strengthening profile from the factory. Also of course you need roof rails, and a lot of interior bits dismantling ... I've done it, but i used metal bonding glue and sealant for supports. The tricky part is drilling through the roof of the car; at least the first hole. I've done it by myself, and don't know of any other attempt personally, i've found a few topics on drive2.com with other one or two examples of retrofit. But it can be done.
  2. @IonC Hello, I was randomly browsing briskoda, and have seen this topic. I may help you, I had a similar issue, juddering/misfire at heavy acceleration and on higher rpms. Also fuel consumption increased. DTC popped up on VCDS, but none on the dash. All of them were misfire related, BUT seems to be caused by 2nd exhaust sensor (commonly referred as lambda probe). After exhaust sensor replacement problem went away, consumption went down-normalized. Used BOSCH 0 258 030 221 (my Octavia is 1,2 tsi CJZA), but check if it fits your 1,4 TSI as I don't know which code is used in Australia. Worth mentioning that i've changed the spark plugs at the same time as a precaution since the car was obviously running rich due to faulty sensor.
  3. Since I've done it on a regular non VRS, here is what You need: Obvious parts: bumper, foglights, bonnet grille, bumper grille, led drls(for fl RS bumper), front fenders-wings, whatever you call them. Non obvious parts: Front part of wheel arch liners, altough can do without them; plastic retainers for front bumper, metal brackets that conect wings to inner frame parts(fl ones are different), metal holder for bonnet fl grille, bonnet release lock is also different; headlight mountung brackets are also different for fl. Radiator lower support frame will probably need to be slightly modified. Headlight wiring should be the same (mine was). However you will need to modify-make wiring for led drls. Hope I helped.
  4. Plain old 2007. 1.9TDI converted to FL + oem bits + Eibachs Hope I'm doing it right...
  5. When You first look at it, ti looks like all you need are ligths, bumpers and grille. BUT a lot of small parts are different. Actually wasn't that bad financially, I sold all remaining (pre facelift) parts. I've done my homework before starting conversion
  6. Thank You Skodaboy1983 and JED. It's not my collection, I only have this one, others are owned by family, friends... Skoda is a popular car brand in Serbia; even top selling when it comes to new cars. I am a Skoda fan, since I have owned Felicia 1.3, two Fabias (1.4 petrol and 1.9TDI) and now an Octavia. Jed, You would need some 30 different parts to get facelift done, bumpers, headlights (obviously :) ), tailights, fog lamps, front fenders (wings), front and rear bumper brackets, guides, grille, etc...and if You want to go further, rear view mirrors, steering wheel, front part of front wheel housing liners, etc...
  7. Hello from Serbia, As my first topic let me introduce myself, I am Nebojsa, from Serbia, owned four Skodas by now, and at least ten other Skodas owned by family members and friends, so it's fair to say that We are big Skoda fans in Serbia. Currently driving Skoda Octavia 1Z 1,9TDI 2007; that I have converted to 09.-13. facelifted model, added a lot of stuff, and always finding something new to do to it. Hoping on owning MK3 RS Octavia or TSI280 Superb when finances allow...
