Hi what was the symptoms of the faulty fly wheel?

Could someone tell me what options mine has please.

A few years back when my Dad was the parts manager at Skoda I took my last Superb 2 in for a service and the tech coded the auto wipers to work. I already had auto lights. When I pick the car up the tech gave me a bit paper with the original coding info in case anything went wrong so he knew what’s to change it back to factory settings

RIP. Great run down there many times. Is it not a listed building? Also it’s a little bit strange that it burnt down when the emergency services couldn’t reach it quickly due to snow? Hope it gets refurbished for the summer.

Mines is a Hackney Carriage Folks. Winter time. Sitting in ranks keeping warm. Short journeys.

My 150tdi dsg is sitting at 36.5mpg Since start. 38mpg Long term. 39mpg Since refuel. I have seen since start at mid 50’s when I’m busy on longer runs.

Right folks. I have squeaky knocking bushes front and back. 30k the rattley front end it most predominantly when going over cobbles at slow speed. Recent MOT and dealership checks and Hackney Test have found no wear or any play in any bushes. I’ve decided to upgrade all the bushes for polyurethane bushes front and back. Getting them fitted and full alignment done on Fri next week. So I will report back. This is the only issue and I would seriously consider getting rid of the car if this doesn’t cure it.

Ps I’d be interested to find out what they did in order to fix it. I don’t think they had time to remove the headlight or the gubbens at the back. Would using a low set heat gun on the front of the lense work?

I suffered the same in mine too after reading this thread and the statement from VW saying everything is normal and should clear up with 20mns of use and the condensation doesn’t affect the function of the lights. (Doesn’t look pretty though and ruins the look of the car). I know my car sat on the forecoart for 4 months before I bought it. I thought I had a pretty bad case but was prepared to give it a while before mentioning it to the dealer. However I had my brake pads done and when I got the car back it had miraculously cleared up. I never asked if they did anything but I might ask in a week or so when it goes in for a service if they did anything.
