Hi all, my car is going in soon for MOT, tracking and Cambelt change, but I've just recently noticed a horrible creaking noise from the suspension, most noticeable when driving over speed bumps (slowly). I suspect the dampers or springs are the most likely suspect, any other ideas and rough costs in terms of resolving the issue? Thanks,

Had my Octy now for a few months, and I initially thought was the well documented cabin boom, appears to be a rather annoying buzz/vibration from my drivers door trim/area. Has anyone experienced this before and have any tips on how to rectify? Apart from this I am very impressed with it. Car is an Elegance TDI if that makes any difference. Thanks

I have the Canton system in my 63 plate Elegance Estate. It's pretty good all round, but could do with a bigger sub in my opinion. I used to install high end sound quality systems in my cars when I was younger, and whilst the Canton system in my car now couldn't touch any of my old systems, it is worth it if you want decent sound without all the fuss and cost of installing an aftermarket system.

When I bought my 63 plate Octavia the external door lock cover was missing. I have since got a new one, and it is being painted as we speak. Does anyone know how exactly these are fitted? From looking at it I presume the front end (end which points towards the front of the car), is offered up first, then push and click the unit into place. Any tips/instructions welcome.

Yeah the prices seem good. The car we traded in for the Skoda is for sale with them a good £1500 less than similar spec cars around the country.

I’ll give it a good clean. I’ve noticed the touchscreen is a bit picky when cold, and it definitely changed by itself, as my hands were not on the mfsw buttons.

Just noticed this morning, my Columbus nav unit changed from Radio 1 to the Planet Rock on DAB randomly. Is this common, fixable, just some quirk to live with?
