Is there a Skoda recommendation for changing the gearbox oil on a 2.0 tdi No issues but just curious

My tyre man tells me to run my 2.0 tdi estate at 34psi but I find it a bit crashy and solid on 17s. ive dropped back to 32psi and feels dramatically different, but maybe that’s why I don’t get above 50mpg??

Ya that app was spot on. I can see it was serviced by Michell Skoda so might be able to get full breakdown now. That was a typeo above, no defrost required

Ok, thanks for that. Shame really, I’m in Ireland and it’s a car Imported from the UK, so not sure if Skoda Ireland are the same, but probably are.

As a new owner of a used 2014 Octavia estate, I like to keep all the records up to date. there was no service history book with the car but a print out of all the works done up to date which have tallied up. my question is, do Skoda not provide a service book any more, or is it a case mine is missing.

My recently purchased 2014 2.0 Tdi Elegance. totally standard as far as I can see.

Anybody have any experience of using thes from SuperSkoda? or am I better off with the genuine thank you

As a new Skoda owner I’m interested in finding out as much as I can regarding the car. whilst trolling this forum I’ve seen a lot of reference to OBD Bluetooth scanners. is it worth having one to mess around with (responsibly), and if so what units are recommended? thanks.

Now I see, thanks Lee. How often does the regen happen do you know? i haven’t seen any indication of this on the dash as to it happening

Not sure on the liters to be honest. Dash display was saying 30 miles range left before I filled to the brim again

Thanks for that info, must check out the app. just completed my second full to the brim tank which returned 523 miles with approx 80% motorway driving. Although I know the mpg return is not bad, it really is a shame the tank was not a little larger.

Mine is 10 miles from house to motorway, then 45 miles more to work. Then home again. I try and leave it on cruise control set at 70 while on the motorway

I don’t feel too bad so after that. I know the tank is supposedly a little smaller than many others but still a bit frustrating. I suppose it’s reading itself at 53.2 mpg isn’t bad if true????

As a new owner of a 2014 2.0 tdi 150bhp Octavia I am curious as to what kind of mileage other users get from their cars. im only on my second full fill and have gotten approx 300 miles from the first half of the tank, my first tankful only returned 510 miles. i know there is a lot of variables in play but just trying to get an idea having come from a 2009 A3 1.9tdi which was returning 650 miles to a tank
