  1. Sorry rear anti-vibration coupling part number!!!!
  2. Afternoon I was wondering if anyone knew the part number for a 2015 Octavia scout 184 dsg? been told that I will need one in the next year so I thought that I would try and find one sooner rather than later!
  3. Hi Chris, it has had a pollen filter change. I will check tomorrow just to make sure thank you
  4. Afternoon, the Amundsen in my 2015 scout has started to do a strange thing. after a period of time the coulomb goes low and can’t be adjusted by either the steering wheel controls or the main dial. if I switch it off it works again for a period of time. it was just in for a service and that’s when it started
  5. Dashcam- I would of had no problems with being told that when the car was in the workshop that the dashcam- was switched off, not when they were on their 2 hour jolly. If you were the type of person to seek vengeance for someone doing damage or something that you didn't like, well they would probably find out who was involved and go after them, the technicians name is on the paperwork, should you be vetted before getting a dashcam? Also carrying out a software update on my car without any communication?- VAG group cars and software updates havent been that successful in recent years. I have no confidence in Arnold Clark Inverness Skoda, that is my personal thoughts, if you like them and are happy with the service, that's great for you.

  7. Great service, fixed my Scout after Arnold C*!t, sorry clark made it worse. The receptionist knew what was wrong with my car as soon as i spoke to her. Great service, well worth a 3 hr round trip to get my car fixed
  8. So since getting my car back i have spoken to two more skoda drivers, both that have had nothing but trouble with Arnold Clark Inverness, Both given Victoria garages number.
  9. So the plot thickens, Car is in another dealership, Victoria Garage in Maud, an hour and a halfs drive away. They have changed the cambelt and alternator tensioner and the noise has gone!. But when the garage tried to get the repairs authorised, they were told that the car had already had a cambelt. So Arnold clark appears to have charged the warranty company for a cambelt, and not fitted it. So another reason to avoid arnold clark!!!!!!! I will be speaking to Skoda and VWFS warranty about this On the plus side, seem to have found a good dealer!
  10. Hi, The dash cam is hard wired, and they would not of had to connect to the car to diagnose a wheel bearing and the cambelt tensioner
  11. This would obviously be the only time I never took note of the mileage! Still waiting for Skoda to respond,...........
  12. Update, Spoke with Skoda customer services. They seemed surprised that Arnold Clark had charged me for the test drive and said that they would contact them to find out why. Arnold clark then told skoda that the test drive was 2 hours but they had reduced the fee to 30 mins of labour as "Goodwill". I also told Skoda that my dashcam had been switched off during the cars garage visit, only to be switched on just prior to me picking the car up. I will never let arnold clark touch my car again, nor will i ever buy a car from them. But 2 hours for a garage to find a damaged wheel bearing?................
  13. Hi, I will contact them as soon as I get back, away down south just now. I will also be asking the dealer why they switched my dashcam off!
  14. Took My Scout into Skoda Inverness (Arnold Clark), for warranty work. My less than 35k car needed a new rear wheel bearing and to investigate a noise from the engine compartment. They tried to charge the warranty company (VWFS) for a 2 hour test drive?. VWFS told them to poke it, so Arnold Clark tried to charge me for it, after a heated discussion they dropped the charge to 30 mins labour charge, which i still think is completely wrong, but i needed my car back. The noise from my engine compartment was the cambelt tensioner, which was replaced, but when i was taking the car away they said that there was another noise, they think that its now the alternator tensioner, i told them that the other noise was not there before they started working on the car. Is there a decent dealer anywhere near Elgin?, can i use the warranty anywhere else. I will not use Arnold Clark ever again.
