  1. Thank you for your help mate!
  2. Thanks for the reply. Mine is CHHA so I'm even more confused now!! Are they essentially the same?
  3. Here is something to ponder! "OEM Spark Plugs"- Does anyone happen to know why there are two different part numbers for the 2.0tsi engine spark plugs. They are: 06K 905 611 C and 06K 905 601 B. I have the later ready to install but just curious as to why two types are listed. Maybe one is Bosch and the other is NGK.
  4. I did format in FAT32. However, I did not put the mibinfo file onto the card, just the two folders. I wonder if that is the problem?
  5. Yes, that is what I have - MIB1 and MIB2 folders. Could it be because I am not using a Skoda SD card? When the unit was fitted the software was already pre-loaded so we did not have an SD card. I have the Skoda SD card from the old MIB1 unit but that is only 16G and the Columbus software requires 32G.
  6. Thanks, I have the download but it is not recognised by the Columbus unit. It says it can't find a source.
  7. Help needed!! I have a Columbus MIB2.5 unit fitted as an update to replace the old MIB1 unit so I can't use the car's VIN number for Skoda Satnav updates. I have downloaded the VW Discover Pro software onto an SD card successfully but the files are not recognised by the Columbus unit when I try to do a software update. SD card was formatted to Fat32. Does anyone know what I am missing here? Has anyone successfully carried out an update to a retro-fitted MIB 2.5 unit? Many thanks.
  8. Thank you for the information. I will take a look at their website.
  9. It is for track use. The OEM single pot calipers struggle a bit so you brake for longer and get more heat build-up. For road use, I agree, more than adequate. Well, very good actually.
  10. I don't think I'll bother Sasha, it was for track use really but I can manage with the OEM single pots and bluestuff pads. I tried DS2500's but they did not take the abuse too well so back to the bluestuff.
  11. Has anyone fitted the Aston Martin DB9 brake calipers with 18" Gemini wheels? I was wondering what wheel spacers were needed to provide clearance. I'm not a huge fan of spacers so I was hoping to keep the size to a minimum. Thanks.
  12. Thanks for the information Sasha. It's the wife's car so I don't think I'll bother. My FL has it already and although I haven't added all 30 colours, I have added a dark red to the colour pallete as my default background.
  13. I did think this. Fingers crossed. I know she added the colour selection menu to her car but I don't know if it's just coding or a firmware upgrade.
  14. Quick question. Is it possible to change the screen background colour on the MIB 2.5 head unit in a 2014 vRS with VCDS? I would like to change it from grey to red. Also the Maxidot if possible. I have seen a reference to the RGB values in Controller 09 adaptions. They are 225, 225, 225, which does make grey but nothing happened when I changed them to 225,0,0 (dark red). Hopefully someone has the answer to this.
