Car came back from dealership today. Infotainment system is now 1805, which as per Skoda is the latest version for the infotainment system in the car. I cannot check but Skoda claims they updated the BCM to SW0161. The said they measured the values for lights reset, found they were off so issue with alarms for front broken lights were rectified. I'll get the official Skoda report in a couple of weeks as it first goes to Skoda somewhere for recording.

Hi, I have asked twice to the dealership, last today afternoon. Will ask them again tomorrow morning. I was asking again here with the video as if this is was a secret Skoda code.

Car still do this flashing, could this flashing be some kind of Skoda Error code? See attached. Car is with dealer, but so far no feedback, especial on firmware status. Skoda Flashes video - 2 (1).mp4

Hi @TheUltraRunner Thanks for the update, I'll have to go to the dealership one of the next days. I did send a email to their customer support, they came back today saying I had the latest perhaps after the issue I had there is a note on my account "Do not update this firmware"

Hi andreiro221, Thanks - I will have to take the car back to the dealership. I have video recordings of the odd flashing behavior so hopefully that should help. They had - as mentioned - the car for 7 weeks due to a firmware issue, for this I am a bit reluctant to bring the car back to the dealership. Hope not another 7 weeks...

andreiro221, Not sure how to update GW and Central Electronics - I presume both would be part of an update to latest firmware version. OTA still say I have the latest, so I guess I'll have to visit the dealership. Still wonder why the rear brake lights flashes in intervals when car left in locked mode without touching the car.

Hi, Thanks, Understand latest version could be 1941. Reason for the "could" is that I understand that not all can get the latest update, think also related to the infotainment system, etc. I don't want to go to the dealership "demanding" V1941 and they say either with or without reason your car can't have that update. Anyway - the issue is still that the car rear brake lights flashes 3 to 5 times with approximately 5 to 6 hours between, this mean the car have been parged for at least 5 to 6 hours. I'll try to change the setting for the security cameras to only record when the flashing happens.

Hi RadioTwo, I see, I have tried to check for updates, but the system say Latest Update installed. I have SkodaConnect and I am set up a main user. We had a huge issue with the software just a few weeks after we got the car (car is from 2021 but had only 1600Km on the clock when we purchased the car end July 2023). Car was at the dealership for 7 week as they needed spares not in country and had software engineer work with the mechanics at the dealership. The list over what they replaced is long, included the computer and regulator for the eTEC, etc., etc. Not sure how I can force the firmware update? (Wife is afraid if we do anything the car will go faulty - again). How/where can I check for the latest firmware released for my car? Steen

Hello, We have a Skoda Octavia Combi eTec MK4 / NX53LD (5K Km) where we have noticed (via our security cams) that when car is parked and locked, the Rear Braking Lights flashes like 3 to 5 times with regular interval (each 5 to 6 hours). Car remains locked and the red lamp that indicates car is locked keeps flashing, doors are locked too. Any ideas/suggestions? Hi RomanB, Happy New Year! Thanks for the comprehensive list over FW! I have FW version "MST2_EU_SK_ZR_P0253T_V0020171002.7z" installed, which I updated to from an older version. From your list I see the version I have currently installed, plus 5 additional higher versions. Question: Can I update to the next one e.g. "MST2_EU_SK_ZR_P0366T_0366.7z" or could I go directly to the last one the version "MST2_EU_SK_ZR_P0478T.7z"? Warm regards - Steen
