  1. I agree, although I have made it clear the seats and the washers for the lights are non negotiable. I just need to wait now. I would also like to thank everyone for the help and good advice.
  2. No the old car is in the garage they gave me a rapid with a full tank 2 weeks ago. It came out of the show room. Not sure they will really want me to keep hold of it for too long as ever already clocked up 1000 miles, oops that's just going to work and back.
  3. My yeti was a SE which is the bottom of the range in the new car. It dosent come with the headlight washers or the varyflex seats. They have said they will fit both of these and give me a set of mats. Basically the car will have everything my old car had. Although it will have LED lights it won't roll back on hills etc. All the stuff that is standard on the new car. Although they have a bit of a problem as with the extras it should be a factory order. I am not able to wait that long due to knee problems, I need a high seating position. They will have to see what stock they can get hold of. The only do the varyflex seating in the SEL AS standard, so wait and see. Oh and my colour options now include all finishes at no extra cost.
  4. Took weeks of fighting but to be honest didn't expect the result I got. Very happy as the old car had 26k on the clock. Oh and no extra cost!I
  5. The dealer has agreed to a buy back and offered us an 18 plate karoq to replace my yeti. The car has exactly the same spec as the yeti with a few extras, sad to see my yeti go but it's too good a deal to say no.
  6. Has anyone got an automatic if so any problems?
  7. Sorry. Not sure I need to check them out. Not sure how many options I will have.
  8. Sorry to sound a bit thick but what's DSG?.
  9. Only problem is my car was a manual the only ones they can get hold of are automatic.
  10. My yeti has broken down again 5 times in 6 months now. The garage have said they are looking into figures for a buy back. Can any one tell me what happens with a buy back? The only replacement yeti's they can find are 67 plates mine is a 66 plate.
  11. I've spoken to the customer care and got no help at all., Apparently both the customer care and the dealer have sent the details to skoda technical but im not so sure. Oh and the section of pipe was ordered the day before skoda tech got back to them. Any time I have tried to contact skoda they just keep sending me to customer care. Just don't know what else to do.
  12. I told them that today and they said no as they won't know if the problem is fixed. The only way they will know it's not fixed is if it breaks down again. They can't tell me exactly what the problem is. They just keep saying they have never known this to happen before and have never had to replace the knox sensor before. I'm gathering the pipe they are replacing is the same as it has to come directly from the factory.
  13. It's a 2.0 Tdi 110, bought brand new 6 miles on the clock when I picked it up. I live between Wrexham and Mold but drive to work in Liverpool 4 days a week hence the choice of a diesel car. It now has just over 24k miles on the clock and had its first service at 20k. Ps sorry about the spelling in the first post but very upset as no customer service at all.
  14. Can anyone help please. Bought a yeti September 16 All was great until Sept 17 when the engine management light went on. Took the car back to dealer who said I hadn't filled the add blue up on time. When I convinced theme I had they said it needed a software update. The engine management Iight came on again in November and the said it needed a knox sensor and pump. Yet again the light came on again on Monday. Now they have had to order a pipe direct from the factory, but are not sure what the problem is or if this pipe will fix the car. Won't get my car back until next Friday at the earliest and no one will help. It seem bad that a 16 month old car is breaking down every 2 to 3 months and no one can fix it of help. The car is a 66 plate 2 leater tdi
