Sorry varoom, I've misunderstood, yes I've changed the bulbs, this is the I've replaced the bulbs twice only replaced these about 3 months ago. But I did swap the bulbs between headlights after this started happening to see if it was a faulty bulb but just kept happening and the passenger side was fine after swapping.

I've had the car 5 years. I'm guessing that they are the original ones as I've never had to change them. It's just really annoying as it's due MOT soon. It's strange As it can stay on for a long time then all off a sudden goes off, but then sometimes goes off as soon as you unlock it. Thanks for your help, may have to pop into skoda.

Hi guys, The headlight on my VRS comes on and after a while flickers and then goes out. When I turn the engine off and back on it does tend to come back on but ends up doing the same thing. Been to local garage and they suggested it may be the Ballast, so I've replaced that with no luck, still the same problem, I've swapped the bulbs over to see if it was the bulb. I do occasionally get a buzzing noise from behind the headlight when the lights come on when I unlock the car but the light doesn't come on. Has anyone ever had this problem and have any idea what it may be. Problem being more the fact its MOT to due. Thanks.
