  1. So got round to changing the bulbs yesterday, very fiddly but I found I could squeeze my hands in there to get them out without moving the fuel filter
  2. Can understand what you mean, we average 46mpg where our old 1.9 jetta was 50+
  3. All done, it's definitely better but I will be having a look at the drums next
  4. So went to tps and bought a set of discs and pads, this was the inside of the discs
  5. https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F273044703686 Is this the one
  6. Where can you buy this and do you just add it to the fuel tank?
  7. It was bought from a small independent garage and has 73k on it, it hasn't been to a main dealer for at least 3 years as it was serviced at a independent garage with a good reputation, it's not long had a service and has been serviced every 10k according to the service book, I might ring the local skoda dealer and see if they have any record of the update being applied to it
  8. Can't really take it back on a hunch... At the moment it's running ok no lights on dash etc
  9. I spoke to my mate who fitted it as he is ex vw and he said you don't code these in... Injectors you do, i just posted up in another thread but should of continued here, we have now done about 330 miles in it and we have had the dpf light come on a couple of times allready but it goes out after a few minutes, one thing of note is the engine is constantly ticking over at 1000rpm with the fan going off and on, now this doesn't seem right to me as its not nice to drive at low speed as it trys to drive itself, we have done a vcds scan and nothing comes up... Otherwise it drive OK, my wife did call me yesterday after her night shift to say it was driving like it had "kangaroo juice in it" and felt lacking in power, but I've since driven it in various ways from slow driving to giving it some throttle through the gears and can't get it to replicate...
  10. We have only just bought it, we have allready had the flashing glow plug light and that was the pre dpf sensor and that was changed, but we have noticed it ticks over high at 1000rpm with the fan going, no other faults came up with a vcds scan
  11. Done about 330 miles in our fabia 1.6 crtdi 90 and we have had the dpf light come on a couple of times but go out after 5 mins... How often should this happen? Is it normal? My Farther in law has a tiguan with the 2.0 crtdi and he's only seen his light twice in 30k
  12. I've tried a few hard brake applications and I've found the brakes at front now judder as if warped, so I definitely will be changing them
  13. I will change them anyway, can't do any harm as they look poor, I'm sure I will see when I remove them
  14. It's just passed mot, but I suspect discs as pads are showing plenty of meat, but when I run finger on inside it's very rough... I think it's time for new ones
