  1. There are advantages on a small engine for 3 cylinders. Less reciprocating mass. Greater bore diameter for better breathing valve sizes. I've ridden modern Triumph 3 cylinders as well as Honda fours, the Triumph is tuned for more torque, the Honda screams, I like both. I am sure tuning companies like Revo Tec will sort out the 3 cylinders 110 tsi.
  2. My previous sportline 190 & 220vrs octy both dsg always stayed in last mode used. However current sportline 280 reverts back to D, which is annoying, as I normally drive in ECO mode. Also having towbar & elecs on both previous cars, when elecs connected mode ECO not allowed. But on the 280 when elecs connected if I choose (not good idea if towing eg coasting/clutch wear) eco it will engage! Spec change from 17 to 18 I'm told by dealer.
