  1. Hello! mainly out of curiosity... can a ko4 turbo be fitted to a stage 1 or not? If not, please could you explain why? Many thanks.
  2. I believe they should last life of the engine but... some choose to change the chain and tensioner after a certain mileage for piece of mind or if the chain stretches etc. πŸ˜€
  3. Very much agreed! I believe if you change the tensioner (if the engine hasn’t already gone bang) then it’s a pretty good engine πŸ‘πŸ»
  4. It’s been refreshing to see people praising the ccza as it has had a hard time over the years! Every engine has its faults πŸ˜€
  5. Replaced with oe or upgraded the turbo? What was the reason if you don’t mind me asking for replacing it?
  6. I’ve read the intervals can take 350-370bhp before being forged, but it may be wise to do it anyway if you're redline happy πŸ˜‚πŸ˜€
  7. Thanks for the detailed reply! Sounds like a good starting point and great future plans. it seems these ccza don’t mind being remapped and seem to be fairly easy to tune with little supporting mods. πŸ˜€ Thanks for the detailed reply! 8. Thank you, would you say you drive enthusiastically or rather just normal? Do you run premium fuel or standard?
  9. Thank you for the information, glad it’s running happy with almost double than standard power πŸ˜‚πŸ˜ƒ
  10. Thank you! Very nice, What company did the stage 3? Did you have to upgrade many parts to support 350bhp? I bet it’s like a rocket πŸ˜πŸ˜€
  11. Thanks for such a detailed reply, I really appreciate it! Great information πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ˜€
  12. Skoda Octavia VRS MK2 FL 2.0 TSI CCZA - How many miles has your VRS done? Thank you, in advance
  13. Hello, I Read that the FL mk2 VRS TSI can suffer from timing chain causing major issues. At what year did skoda start fitting the revised more reliable timing chain tensioners etc. Many thanks.
