  1. Hi John. My 2.0 TSI was built and delivered in May 2018. So far I’ve got about 7,000km on it and haven’t had any issues. So far it’s run perfectly and everything has functioned well. I don’t have a wireless charging phone yet so haven’t really tested out the phone box. I’ve been really happy with the car and any quibbles I have are minor. I’m not a fan of the Nav system maps. They’re too busy and need to be simplified IMHO. I ordered the self parking feature to assist my wife parking but the feature is a pain to use and not very effective unless you’ve got tons of space (which usually isn’t the case in the city.) Other than that no major complaints yet. Love the 2.0 TSI though and glad I got it. When I put it in sport mode it’s a really fun drive for a big SUV! cheers, scott
  2. Test drive a top of the line Kodiaq that has drive mode select, adaptive chassis, and the 2.0TSI or 140kw TDI. The drive mode select at least gives you some options to easily switch up the performance characteristics if you feel the ride is boring. I've got a top of the line 2.0TSI with all the bells and whistles. It's an extremely comfortable and refined ride, great around town and on long journeys. No problems parking on the curb in Prague, but I don't abuse it and hit it hard like I would PoS Jeep or old Land Cruiser. When I want a bit of fun I can pop it in Sport mode and it's got decent enough acceleration and handling to put a smile on my face (accepting of course that it's a family SUV and not a sports car.)
  3. I don’t think the Continental Winter Contacts have a right and a left. They have an “Outside” because the tread is asymmetrical. If you stand them up as they would be on the car does it look they have a right and left or does the tread go in the opposite direction on one side?
  4. Probably not a relevant data point, but I purchased my fully loaded 2.0 TSI (Edition equivalent) in Prague, Czech Republic for £37,350. That was about 10% off list. Maybe you guys should just take a nice vacation to Prague and buy one here :-)
  5. I have this same issue, but I’m on Mac. Happens with both the consolidated file and the individual files.
  6. Yes, I downloaded the files in GPX Other and even tried a couple of other formats when that didn’t work. Must be something weird with the Mac.
  7. I can't seem to get past step 3 with this. I'm on Mac using Safari and the Skoda My Destinations site errors out in the browser with "Server Error in Application" and a bunch of code once I hit Import. Tried Chrome and Firefox browser and no luck. Tried changing file names, etc. and no luck. Any ideas?
  8. Great. Thanks for the info. I’ll give it a try.
  9. My understanding was that the old VW site let you easily convert the POI file to a format that the Skoda head unit recognized. Does the Skoda Connect portal do the conversion? I'm looking to upload speedcam data to my Columbus system in my Kodiaq but was under the impression that it's not possible without the old VW site (i.e. you can upload the POI file to the car easy enough but the file won't work because it needs to be converted first.)
