  1. As far as i am aware. CC speed display can't be done on the yeti diesel for some reason?! You can enable it but, it won't display? It works on petrol versions.
  2. VW use Dynaudio in thier top of the range sound systems. Try cross referencing speakers with the vw range and find dynaudio speakers to fit the Skoda. It's sort of upgrading and staying stock within the VAG family.

    towbar wiring

    Havent had it done yet.
  4. Yep, CWARD. I will have to remove the towbar and it should fit with the seats down and the drawbar between the front seats.
  5. Today i received a set of accel stealth super coils from the USA. Hopefully have them fitted over the weekend. Driving down to wolverhampton on tuesday, to pick up a tow behind trailer for touring. Hoping it fits in the back of the yeti!!
  6. Cheers Sad555. FL has a different canbus to pre FL. I can get the steering wheel i mentioned for not a lot of money and my airbag fits it. Its the canbus for the mfsw buttons i am looking to confirm.
  7. I had them in my volvo. They are very good when you have a 94 year old mother in law and a 70 year old mother getting in and out of the vehicle.
  8. The towbar was fitted by previous owner using a universal bypass kit. Hence the need to have a dedicated wiring kit fitted.
  9. Thanks Gizmo. That was my concern, the buttons and Canbus issues. I thought the mfsw buttons had to be paddle specific?
  10. What is involved in retro fitting footwell lights in a pre FL yeti? Are the required ends of the wiring loom in place? Just needing lights and connectors plus coding? Or a bit more effort?!
  11. I am looking at a 2009 Octavia combi paddleshift wheel. Will this work in my 2011 yeti once coded? Its basically the same as i have in the car with the same airbag and mfsw buttons, except with the paddles. Any help appreciated.
  12. So far OBDeleven has been excellent. once you have a step by step for what you want to do as, write ups for VCDS and OBDeleven are sometimes portrayed differently on the OBDeleven home screen. The waffle about buying or accumulating credits, ony applies if you want to use the coding apps. These are preloaded apps to code the most popular recodes. Basically its a one touch recode for whatever it is you want to change, without worrying about Bytes and Bits or Hex. ie; enable/disable cornering fog lights or enable/disable DRLs etc etc. (PRO version) But if you have the correct pathway to your desired recode (module, byte/bit/hex) and are confident in your skills, its free after your initial, OBDeleven Pro purchase. I have also just changed my headlight wash from every 4 to every 8 washes of the windscreen
  13. Got OBDeleven this morning. As with all tech, you have to get into using correctly so read up and watch youtube clips I started small as its new to me.Checked for fault codes, identified the one i knew about. I have changed comfort indicators to 5 blinks and switched on mirror dip. Easy peasy. Ability to long code too, with pro version.
  14. I have one on its way in the post, hopefully have it soon.
  15. I agree. But we cannot all afford that kind of money. OBDeleven has a good write up and seems good value to us peasants lol.
