  1. I'm not a lover of the cognac(brown) interior that Skoda keeps showing us, I much prefer the black interior that was on the Sportline they showed at the launch. Hopefully we'll get the specs and prices soon.
  2. After nearly 3 years away from the old Kodiaq, I'm ready to come back! I thinks it's definitely a Marmite Kodiaq seeing the early opinions on the forums, but for me, I like it. Looking forward to seeing the specs and prices when they come out. As long as they're not way over the top, it'll be goodbye Tarraco😊
  3. Growlingdog, how are you getting on with the DSG, are you glad you didn't get the manual now. By the way, that is a cracking colour, if it had been available when I ordered, I'd definitely gone for that.
  4. I fitted a Racechip XLR and the difference is a smoother and more responsive throttle, particularly when pulling away. https://www.racechip.co.uk/pedal-box/xlr.html
  5. You hit the nail right on the head John. I've got a ip66 socket at the front of the house, then 15 metres between socket and car. Was looking for a simple solution but 15 metres seems to far for the standard fittings. If I do go ahead a swap the Kodiaq for the Superb iv the safest and easiest way is to get a Podpoint with a tether installed and add a EV extension. Thanks for all your help.
  6. Cheers John, I've looked into this and have contacted the company and awaiting a reply. The reviews look good but all American, nothing from the UK, but not in any rush so will check it all out first.👍
  7. I haven't got anything yet, looking into what's viable for a distance of 15 metres. So far the only option is to have a tether system installed and buy a 10 metre extension.
  8. Thanks John. I've looked at extension but you need to have a home charge point with a tether connection. What I'm looking for is a 15 metre cable with a 3 pin plug on one end and the type 2 connector at the other. No luck so far
  9. Thanks Kenny. I'll have to see if I can get a longer one made up.
  10. Hi there, I currently own a Kodiaq and have been looking into the new Superb iV estate, but I can't find any info on the length of the charging cable. I need a length of 12 metres. I've tried live chat and emailed customer service without success. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
  11. Your best bet would be to call Racechip, I found them very helpful before buying the Racechip XLR. And after 2 years in use its been perfect. No complaints at all. https://www.racechip.co.uk/pedal-box/xlr.html
  12. Leather for me. Paid the then £300 option on my SE L, which the dealer somehow left off the final bill!! Just love the feel, easy to get in and out, and have never felt like I was sliding about. Easier to keep clean as well.
  13. Just set to the setting you're comfortable with, That's it, done. It stays at that setting till you decide to change it. Once I did mine and was happy, I just removed the dial from the box and stored it.
  14. Sounds like throttle lag rather than gearbox. When I first got my Kodiaq 1.4tsi DSG, it had a slight lag when pulling away so I brought and fitted the XLR racechip. 10 minutes to fit and bang tidy, lag gone. Two years later and its still doing its job. https://www.racechip.co.uk/pedal-box/xlr.html
  15. All Kodiaq's are built at the Kvasiny plant in the Czech Republic.
